    I got the X2 this year, and it works great. If your running that 10 pound ball, make sure you mount the unit where you have enough cable to keep the transducer in the water because of the blow back.     I got the X2 as well, used it for the first time a few weeks ago. Just make sure the tiny screws one the plug are tight. When putting it away, noticed they both vibrated loose and lost one.
