Cayuga Fall bass fishing

I will be up for a week in mid September to do some bass fishing and have a couple questions. I plan on fishing drop shots and Carolina rigs as I normally do well on that presentation in the fall for both smallmouth and largemouth. What colors are people using for worms/grubs and is it better to head north or south on the lake at this time of year. I am centrally located a couple miles from deans cove but obviously willing to trailer to a different launch.
