Well, this season was a complete grind. Between welcoming a newborn baby on May 2nd (a huge family blessing, but a turkey hunting disaster! 😂) and literally having to walk away from a gobbler closing in at 80 yards, it was a tough month. Add in a major absence of birds at my usual public spots, and a frustrating final two days trying to pull a gobbler onto public land, and I never even had a legitimate chance to pull the trigger. Put miles and miles on the boots with nothing to show for it—but hey, that's just how it goes sometimes!

With this season in the rearview, I’m already looking ahead to 2027. I’m planning a mini trip north to start the season and could use some advice from anyone who hunts the Adirondacks (ADKs) or St. Lawrence public land.

I am absolutely not asking for anyone's honey holes—just the names of some productive State Lands or Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) to give me a starting point. Please feel free to PM me. Appreciate any and all guidance you fellas can share!
