JayM3456 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago On Thursday August 13th at 7pm, the Lake Ontario Trout & Salmon Association will be sponsoring a Seminar on “Adjusting Your Program to Target Large Kings “with Captain Joe Yaeger. Captain Joe has been fishing on Lake Ontario for 50 years and has been a LOTSA member for 45 years. Captain Joe fishes out of various ports aboard his Grady White named Salmonella. Some of his tournament accomplishments include the LOTSA Tournament 2024 1st place, 2019 1st place 2020 4the place and the 2017 LOTSA 323 1st place. The LOC 2026 Spring Grand Prize, 2024 Summer 1st place and the 2017 Summer Grand Prize. Captain Joe will be going over some of his best tactics he has learned over the years being a successful angler on Lake Ontario. Some of the topics he will be covering will be bait presentation, bait selections, finding the best locations, getting the most out of your electronics while on the water, and many of the little things that can make a difference while out on the lake. With the Fall LOC just around the corner this will be the “Go to Seminar” to help improve your fishing success on Lake Ontario. LOTSA is a group of mainly weekend recreational fishermen who are dedicated to the enhancement of the Lake Ontario Sport-Fishery including the pen rearing project at Olcott. Each meeting also features a sharing of information on the current fishing conditions. So come join us and become more successful at fishing Lake Ontario.
