Lake Champlain fisherman headed to stay at Sandy Pond tomorrow.  I would appreciate any intel as what to use.....FOW ?   which direction to head from Sandy Pond.  I fished for kings 25 years ago out of Oswego and made a trip this past spring for browns.  Any help would be appreciated.

Native CNYer living/fishing in the 802 over 25 years. I’ll be off Oswego Labor Day weekend. Hope you had tight lines today. Generally good off Sandy and recent reports should’ve been helpful.

Went off Fairhaven after hearing some good local reports. Went 2 for 3 on Saturday and 4 for 5 today.  Yesterday the lake was unfishable. 3 on the dipseys. One on a blue dolphin stingray after loosing a screamer Saturday and the rest on FF. Dragon slayer was mainstay and UV green mixture.

Thanks for response.  We went 2 for 3 on our last day.  Six foot swells........fishing partner got queasy.  All on Raspberry Carbon.  64 down over 145 ft of water.  One was a real screamer.  Good luck !
