Canandaigua and Honeoye Advisory

While we're on the subject here...

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has issued a boating advisory for Canandaigua and Honeoye Lakes.

Both lakes are at high levels and some boat docks may be submerged. Boaters are urged to restrict their vessel speed to 5 mph as there may be floating debris at or below the surface.

Keeping boats at the speed of 5 mph will also reduce the potential of additional shore erosion.

Why don't they just tell us we can't fish any of the Fingerlakes, this SUCKS ..... of course I'm fishing Lake Ontario for the derby. Good luck this weekend guys and gals
