4 to 6 inch water drop in Sodus bay in last 2 days

Anyone heard anything that could explain water drop in Sodus bay in the last 2 days. I'm sure it is affecting all bays but that seems like a huge drop in just 2 days. If it continues at this rate I will have to pull my boat as I don't have the depth at dock for my Sea Ray. If you have seen any info please pass it on.

Seems like sandy creek drop about that to, Hamlin that is. The lake flipped as well. Glad I took off to fish next week ,and not this week. Low water level means I dont get as wet fix my dock

i was fishing out of mexico ,docked in catfish creek and that drop as well talked too a captian at the dock and the said it was becouse the big south east winds pushed the warm water out and cold water in and it up welled !

I heard today, that the reason for the big drop was to make room for all the water expected from the midwest. With all their water, they need to divert as quick as possible to help with all the flooding. Hope it helps them!!
