14 boats outside Erie Basin by northern breakwall

Not sure if they are walleye fishing. Probably bass. Seems like a bite is going on. Go get em.

Mark,A good number of those boats were guide boats taking clients for smallmouth bass. The action has been very hot,just drift with the current pull toward bird island reef dragging tubes along the bottom.As the tube bounces over a bass spawning bed it gets slamed.We had a couple bass over 4 lbs the other day and caught so many we lost count.

Captain Larry, In fisherman just had a show from that same area . They showed a bass 20"+ , over 6+ #'s. Nice fish! I think the show was taped in Spring 2011.

Wow, thats is wicked. Thanks larry. Now I got option #3 if the walleye and perch dont want to cooperate.
