So I was thinking about making the trip up to the French Festival by boat Saturday night to watch the fireworks with the family from Henderson. Has anybody been to the fireworks in a boat? Any suggestions on how close I would have to get or a good spot to view them in the river? I estimate it to be a 23-25 mile trip from my port so it should be a nice adventure and to test out how good I am with the new Garmin Chartplotter.
