Have any of you guys fished Catherine Marsh in Watkins Glen? I have a little fiberglass boat I want to take in there in the spring and summer. What kind of fish are lurking in there?! And have you guys seen a lot of carp in there that I can take with my bow?

Lots of guys bow fish it. Only handful of places to get a boat in. I am not sure on ice fishing. It sees some currents from run offs and what nots. Be careful..

Do you think I could wade the through the cattail parts pulling a boat, how deep is it in the main pond?

You could try a pole.  A good long pole and you can stand up while poling to see and be stealthy moving around.  Sometimes (salt flats usually I think) guys have platforms on the boat to get even higher to see into the water better.  I've thought about getting in there myself, bringing a pole and electric motor on my jon.  Length depends on your height above water and depth of water, I'm guessing 12' to start?  No idea how deep it is though.
