Need info on fishing Oak Orchard for a special day

I am a newbie to this forum, and I am taking my brother in law and his "new" step son out fishing by boat in Oak Orchard tomorrow and would really like for them to have a special day. We are looking at basic casting and bait fishing in the river, any suggestions on bait or good places? I am thinking worms, and either minnows or crayfish, not picky on what we catch. I really appreciate any feedback that helps their new relationship start off with a great bonding opportunity. Thanks!

take a mix of minnows and crawlers and fish from the fishing doc close to the launch at the Oak should do something there
