Eager to learn!

Hi guys (ladies?). Been a stream fisherman for many years, but picked up a nice boat from a retiring friend and now we're "on the water" with much to learn. Have an elderly (80's) dad that I want to get back out there and "complete the circle" from having taught me to love fishing for so many years. The boat is an 18' Mirrocraft rigged out for downrigger fishing, but I have to be wary of the wave height, given his age. Fishing out of Webster. Welcome Pat. Just keep your eyes on the board & ask away. Lot of guys here from I-Bay & Genny fish that way. I-Bay can be very good when the lake starts "churning."
