Got out today and fished sodus. We started in about 10 feet of water off of Boulder point. We very quickly realized that it was crystal clear and relatively cool in there. I moved out and slowly switched all of my stuff over to steelhead spoons on top, and then spoons or cowbells down below.

It was truly a liquid desert for much of my Northwest troll towards hughes marina. Finally once I got to Hughes in about 110 feet of water I had a couple of steelhead on top, and some Laker action down below.

It was a grind today. Warmest water we found was about 48° right off Hughes, it's seemed to get warmer as we went west. We got out to about 250 feet of water today, and focused most of our effort in that 100 to 140 range. The water certainly look better the further west you went as well
