Is there a right way to set it up? Got everything for it and on. Is there an on or off way to run it? Or just got to take the battery out after every use

Moor Sub Trolls automatically turn on when submerged and turn off when taken out of the water.  You can just leave the battery in the probe and it won't drain when out of the water.
