The GCBA presents it's first annual kids' fishing derby.  All kids and their parents are invited to come fish at Summerville breakwall (Club Terrace, Rochester NY 14617) from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19th, 2018

 

This event is a FREE fishing event which means all are welcome and you will NOT need a fishing license to join the fun.  The Genesee Charter Boat Association has a free fishing permit!

 

The kid who catches the longest fish will win a fishing charter for his or her family.  


Donations will be accepted to benefit the GCBA Pen Rearing Project.

Is the derby being held on Club Terrace which appears to be the Yacht Club Driveway, or is it held at the Pubic Fishing Access site at the end of St Paul Blvd.?   And what ages fall into the category of  Kid?"

It's the breakwall (Public Fishing Access) between the sheriff station and O'laughlin's. 

 

"Kids" will be ages 15 and under.  Sorry for not clarifying that!  All are welcome though.  FishUSA and Okuma has sent us prizes.  


All ages can fish for free without a license regardless of age as long as they sign up on the day of the derby.  

 

It's a carry-in and carry-out day!  Let's try to carry out more than we carry in!  

 

Let's get some kids hooked for life!
