You would think someone would be testing drinking water on a daily or at least weekly and if they had to increase a salt filter system someone should know. Anyone paying for that water should have a right to know also.

Nice report Les , went to LO to fish with my Cuz Bucky , when I got there they had just got in went 4 for 4 3 kings over 20# and a big laker they put back that was in the 20's....... I fish the next morning with him and we moved three rods but no hook ups..... looked like I brought my luck with me up there..... -
Les cover it pretty good , fishing has been going down hill and a derby kills fish just for money. At this time IMHO I don't think it would help but add to the decline.

We need the people that control the lake levels to do it fair not one sided. Calling for some rain today just put side covers on and raised her up in the hoist....

Carol , Kinger and I got out on Seneca this morning 1 for 2 , small brown good rip 71' down didn't hook up. Hoist worked good water still low as hell 3 or 4 inches lower and will need to pull boat. When I had hoist put in last year the water level was at the low point for the summer controler depth. This was great set hoist up figure we would be good to go for ever....... now this year it hit that low level first week of August and been dropping ever since. I had the guy the put my dock in come back over and get every inch he could for lowering the hoist because I had to power off and on the way it was........... the part that pisses me off about this is the powers that control the lake levels keep dropping Seneca and Keuka BUT Cayuga stay up and has been gaining level the past two weeks..... I should send them the bill for my extra hoist work and if I have to pull boat a bill for non use of my camp.... Might be a little concerned with the noise marks straight up and down , could be a wiring problem. After you tweak it if they get real bad you may have to wire your unit direct to battery with a inline fuse...... but hope not. -

He was after browns , and shared a great day on the water for a father son. Just hard to beat that ...... Now on this topic of fishing for something else and getting a musky. About ten years ago I got my first one in Ohio fishing a overflowing muddied up lake. My first time there there were stripers in there so I was using a meat head rig with cut bait herring , hooked up with my first ever musky. Just to compare how far N.Y. is than Ohio at that time size for legal musky was any size one per day. So you guys as a group have done a great job here protecting and educating keep that up....... I bought lures off Zach good guy to deal with , I fished and talked fishing with Justin enjoyed it....... Now hermit , just kidding Alec .... some day we will have a good bite on the water Alec. -

I don't know where Trump stand on fishing but I found out where Hillary did. Years ago politics were talking of cutting the funding for fed funded fish hatchery. A post on LOU listed info to contact Hillary to support the funding for the hatcheries....... I sent her a e-mail as a out of N.Y. state person who fished N.Y. asking for her support on the funding. Received a reply from her/someone , stating she had her hands full helping N.Y. state residents issues and NO time for mine.......
