    Looks like an ENE wind for this weekend. You guys find the walleye fishing to be difficult in the Cape area with these winds versus a W or SW?

    I have picked off 20 already at Fort Drum. The areas where deer yard up in the winter seem the worst.

    The mouth of Wilson Bay and Middle bay have been real hot. There is a underwater point off the Atlantic sign at the mouth of Mud bay that will surely produce as well.

    Just find weed beds and weed lines in 15-30 ft of water and cast or troll over them. The big boys hang on steep drop off often suspended. The east end of Carlton, shoreline east of Cape Vincent public launch, the weed lines east of Cedar Point State park, the drop off in front of millens bay are nice spots.

    I'll be out there on Friday...Planer boards really increase the catch rate out there. We have been picking up lakers, cohos and walleye out there in that depth as well. A couple of nice eater browns you caught...good job!
