Sounds like a heck of a good weekend of fishing. I took the nephew out today and we boat 15 Lakers between 3 and 7.5 lbs.

The lake trout division went from 11+lbs down to 9-14, the other trout division went from around 10-12 I think, down to around 9-8

I weighed in a Laker at 10-6 today too. Let's hope we can upgrade em' tomorrow.

Trolled sticks and stingers off planner boards and went 14 for 17. Caught 2 nicer fish, a Brown right at 10lbs and a LL that was just shy of 8lbs. Here a couple of pics, I don't think my nephew will forget this day of fishin' for a long time.

I fished on Saturday and did pretty well with the Landlocks but only did three browns. How far behind the ball were you running your spoons?????

Can a person launch just south of route 20 and motor up the river to just below the gates/ dams and fish or is there or is there a distance you have to stay away from the damn. Thanks for any feedback.

Anyone know where I could get some replacement handles for my Okuma LC reels? I been looking around on the internet and I'm not coming up with much, thanks for any input.

I have had decent luck pulling large rooster tails right down the chute on flat lines. Gray or white always seems to work well.

What is everyone favorite wading jacket. I use to have a Hodgeman jacket that really worked out well for probably3 or 4 years. Then this last one I got was a Cabela's gore-tex jacket. I have had two of them and I don't think either one has lasted more than a year? Thanks for any input guys

Yup, I had a 9.4 that was sitting in 5th until the last 5 minutes when I got bumped off, oh well there always another tourny down the road

I would definitely be up for it if it were a derby just for heaviest trout not the 1 mans limit. Would something like that be possible????

I called them up yesterday and they said it was definitely by weight, but it still was odd to hear how sure there rep was on the radio that winners would be decided by length.

Just curious if anyone else was listening to the radio this morning and heard what I heard? A representative from the Boys and Girls Club was on 870 AM the morning and was promoting the upcoming derby. When asked how the winner's of the tournament would be decided he stated .....by length except for the lunker which would be weight. Is this right??? If so I could catch a long skinny fish and win a division while someone else could catch a short fat fish and win the lunker. Seems very odd, I am interested to hear if anyone else heard this though. Thanks for any feedback
