  1. That's great, it's better than a coffee can on the boat. At least it's got handles.
  2. Only if you fly there Ray. For this year a passport isn't needed for driving or boating into/from Canada. Next year (2008) it's needed for everything.
  3. Malin's got it: http://www.malinco.com/fishing/trolling.html
  4. http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/MNR/fishing/ That will get you in the right direction. Go to the left side of the page, near the top. Good luck
  5. I run my leader 6 feet back. You want the net to be able to reach the fish once the dipsy gets a foot from the rod tip. I use both dipsys and riggers. The dipsys get the lure down & away from the boat & the riggers are down and back making a nice spread of lures.
  6. Oswego is lookin pretty good. The harbor is open, but Wright's still has floating chunks of ice in front and the launch is still blocked with snow & ice. The lake looks wide open with scattered bergs way out floating by, but navigable. The small boat launch under Bridge St. still has a lot of snow & ice blocking it. If we get the warm spell through the weekend maybe the launch will open up for next weekend, hopefully. Does anyone know any place near there that might be open?
  7. I'm taking my g/f for a ride to Oswego today to check things out. I'll let you know how it looks up there.
  8. Can I be an Observer?
  9. I've got 2 of the CV30DLX's and I've never had a problem with them so far. I've had them for 2 years. Some guys complain that the drags creep under load, but mine haven't. Maybe it was the previous year they had problems with that. Mine are the blue colored ones, the previous ones were black.
  10. Boat? What boat?
  11. I'm kinda partial to the 7'6 Ugly Stick Med. Heavy, Daiwa spooled with 20# Berkley Line. I've been using them for years. They stand up to heavy abuse.
  12. Yeah, & only using one would make your boat go around in circles.
  13. Nice job on them. Think I'll try tying some up. Thanks
  14. In the pile outside after it sits for a while.
  15. I'll get you one, but it's your turn to finger thru the manure to get the wigglers. Sorry, it's been handed down for generations
  16. Chaos, HA!!! You wouldn't want my stuff. It consists of a 13' bamboo pole and a can of barn manure wigglers. I always wanted a rich relative who would buy me some real gear so I'm packing my pillow case with all I own and am coming to live with you. I hope you got lots of beer.
  17. Catching a dogfish or mudpuppy from shore. It's funny watching them walk back into the water.
  18. Skiener, do you make those or where do you buy them?
  19. That's me, the 53rd back, 2nd from the bottom. BWAHAHAHA Good one.
  20. They've been in Oneida Lake for years. The perch & other smaller fish love 'em. Haven't hurt the fishery there as far as I know.
  21. This is a link to a couple of good CD's I bought last year. Both CD's are various fishing songs by well known artists. http://www.wgfb.com/ If you guys have any other good ones, post them here so we can all enjoy.
  22. I'm ready! Put me IN Coach.
