  3. When I used to fish it, we started labor day and fish thru to mid Oct. Night fishing and then first 2 hours of morning. After that it's a waste of time. We would show up just before dark, fish all night until 9:00 am. Good luck. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. 5.5 % on my last boat loan. Not bad at all. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. A loan for 3500 will help his credit score for sure. 3500 dollar loan is a good small step to increasing the credit. We aren't talking 50 grand here. Just make sure you can afford it and make your payments. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. 3500 bucks on a 3 year boat loan is about 100 bucks a month. Nothing wrong with financing it if you can afford it. Just remember stuff breaks and maintenance costs and add that in to your budget. I have financed my last 2 boats at a 3 year term. Good luck. 12. All I was trying to do was give some perspective to what rigged islanders in excellent shape go for around here. The market may well be different in Canada but for 30k I can buy a 30 ft Tierra here. Just giving out info about prices. I hope he sells it for what he wants and wish him luck. 16. Black and purple spoons. Pinks, oranges, greens. Flasher fly rigs set close to bottom will take Lakers on the wire. 60 to 120 fow. But don't be afraid to run right up the middle. RR Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. That is a nice rig. Let me give you what I sold my 2000 islander 221v for..... It was the 4.3 v 6. Show room condition. Loaded with all raymarine electronics. Sonar, chart plotter, vhf radio and auto pilot. With a brand new custom made stainless rocket launcher that also has extra rod holders and big Jon planner board reels. Set of boards and Scotty down riggers. 14k and it was gone in 3 days. Just to give you an idea of what things go for around here. Great boat hole you do well with your sale. 18. It's been very good since the 4th of July. Fleas are scarce but the weeds showed up today. Basically riggers 55 to bottom over 60 to 120. Divers parked just off bottom. Today it.slowed a tad but still decent. You have to weed through the small ones and it's about a 5 to 1 ratio. Fishing from the plant north past dean's on both sides. Bangin the bottom will put extras in the boat. RR Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  22. 10.6. But when running divers I always match the leader to rod length for ease in netting fish. Doesn't seem to matter to the fish. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. The length of the rod is my leader. 4 to 5 feet further with the bait head assembly. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. I run clean meat all the time. If I'm running 2 coppers, one is clean and one with an 11 inch paddle. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
