  1. Southerly winds. Shouldn't be to bad unless its its real windy. Of course it will change three times before Sunday gets here.
  2. Biggest 1 fish tourny? Just making sure i read them correctly.
  3. It was better a little later. The kings came between 7 and 8 and the steelies after that. First light was slow.
  4. We had one hit on the wire that lasted about 3 seconds. Sorry to here about your motor problems. Atleast you got out.
  5. What about the cooler check at the end of the day. At Wilson we had to move to Sunset from Moyers for this reason.
  6. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Cold Water Affair ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):8/15 Time on Water:6-1 Weather/Temp:Hot Wind Speed/Direction: Calm Waves: 0' Surface Temp: 75 Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 10 Total Boated:7 Species Breakdown:2 kings, 5 Steelhead Hot Lure: Chartreuse spinny/ Abes Cursher fly, moldy ice(custom) Trolling Speed: Down Speed: 2.5-3.0 Boat Depth: 380'-420' Lure Depth: 75'-100' ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Most fish were taken off copper and leadcore. Didn't move a dipsy all day. The kings were small 5lb and 10lb. steelies were mostly 4-6 lb with one at 10lb. Lots of hooks down 240-300 ft but couldn't get them to go. Hope they come up soon. Nice day on the water but could have used more weight as we only managed 13th in the Fairhaven Challenge.
  7. Any idea about docking for the tournament. Im assuming maybe Wrights and Oswego marina?
  8. I would let them grow as they look to only be 1.5 yrs old, notice how there legs make them look tall not long. Could be late biths of lack of nutrients this past winter, etc. At 2.5 yrs you can get a good sense on what they will look like at maturity, but you can never know for certain.
  9. Now Im gonna need to keep an eye out for your truck on the side of the road.
  10. He can speak French in Russian
  11. Glenn, Glad all worked out for you. There is not a worse feeling to have on the water then you are sinking. Those Coasties are amazing when under pressure. Way to come back on Sunday and end up 7th.
  12. If its calm. If it gets rough on you while you are up there it will be a long ride home. A southwest wind is not a calm wind for Oswego.
  13. Rocky, PM sent. Plane tickets...It would be cheaper to fish on a Trojan. Hopefully we find someone. Thanks
  14. We are looking for an observer for this weekends Oswego proam. Our observer we had has a family problem and will not be able to do it. We will be docked in Oswego at Wrights. We will be paying $100 for the tournament, Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested please pm me or call (585) 733-3605 Thanks Team Coldwater Affair
  15. Nick, Wrights landing in Oswego is pretty easy. No reservations needed and you can sleep on the boat. Im not sure if you can trailer during the pro am, but boat needs to stay in port, atleast by water.
  16. Check to see it the seam on the transducer is still sealed tightly and has not split. My transducer on my Lowrance split and would mark bottom but no fish. Over 200' it would loose bottom. Atleast it only happened at the Scotty. If you try a new transducer, just mount it on the transducer bracket and tie the old one up until you know thats the plroblem.
  17. We are looking for an observer for the Niagra Pro am June 6-7. If you are interested shoot me a pm. We are also paying $75 for the weekend. Its a great learning experience. Thanks Jeff
