  7. It is said to be 3 times stronger than wood. You cut the top off the stringer and poor it full. saves labor but cost more than wood. Also it dies not rot or absorb water.

  13. Type Ones provide upright flotation for even an unconcious person. They are required for boats taking people for hire and recomended for off shore fishing boats. Most recreational boats have type II.
