I have 3 complete sets of Tuna Toms carbon fiber drag washers and 4 clicker springs also complete clicker system rebuild kit for Diawa sealine sg's 27 or 47 size reels. Drags also fit the diawa accudepth plus series reels. All brand new and all for $25.00 bucks, Pick up in Mexico or buyer pays actual shipping. (which won't be much) -

Not that I completely disagree with your philosophy however the site has moderators to make those kind of assessments. It was and is definitely a topic that effects us as sportsman no matter what your political affiliation. I myself appreciated the facts that were posted.

I see what you mean. No offense taken. I appreciate the heads up. In fact I'm a little jealous as I got it from Cabelas a couple years ago and paid 169.00 + state tax and shipping. And that price was supposed to be "a deal" on a flyer that comes with their credit card bill every month. LOL. The knife is exactly as I described and I'll take $100.00 for it. -

Did you read post? First line says "looking to sell" but thanks for your advice. After Rickbgm mentioned the prices are down now I figure I'll go up into the Berkshires on a nice warm spring day after the water in the rivers recedes a bit, catch a few trout with it and hit a couple local fly shops and talk to the guys to see if I can get a lead or two. There are a lot of nice trout streams up in the area it was made. -

Thanks for your input. The rod is completely original including finish, windings, guides and handle. It was made in Amherst MA by the Amherst fishing rod company somewhere in the mid 40's. It's been fished but well taken care of. No warping ect. This is probably not an ebay sale or purchase for resale type deal and I'm looking for some type of media to reach serious buyers. Can you give me any leads as far as that would go? -

info Fishing line
spoonfed-1 replied to Reel Chaos's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
Main line I like a couple hundred feet of 12 lb Ande underneath my fluorocarbon leaders. 20 lb test under the 12 depending on reel capacity. Cheap and easy to replace the 12 and leaders every year or as needed during the season. -

Low cost counter reels for trolling
spoonfed-1 replied to trickworm33's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
I ran Magda 30's and 20's for years and while they were cheap reels they did the trick. Fished the Finger Lakes and then Ontario for a few years with them. Took many Salmon and Browns and never lost a fish because of them. Drags were a little sticky. This was 25+ years ago so I don't know if they are the same now. From my past experience I think they will be fine for the limited use it seems they would get. IF they are the same as they were back then. -
They are both productive but a slide diver has to be removed completely from the line or left on that rod. Same thing if you want to change color divers and then re rigged when you want to fish it again. A fixed diver can be removed from the rod via a snap swivel which is a hell of a lot more convenient. That said, I always have at least one rod on the boat dedicated to slide divers and four for running fixed divers.
