    I would want a lighter sacrificial cable from the probe to the ball. 12"-18" long. (we usually run 80 lb) If something happens it's a lot cheaper to replace just the ball and save the probe.

    I got 5 Daiwa Sealine SG27lca"s for $55.00 ea or 2 for $100.00. Reels are in nice shape with very little boat rash. Perfect working condition. Also 1 Daiwa Sealine SG47lca for $60.00 excellent condition. Buyer pays shipping.

    Thanks but that is not a Golden Boy. Golden Boy was a clear blank with gold tape on the top 1/2 silver tape on the bottom 1/2.

    You can attach the mono leader to the wire using a small #8 spro swivel. They go through the guides and level wind of most reels without any issues.
