  1. 80 lb test I believe.
  2. Not a problem. Just retighten before you hit the road. Both my current boats do this. 26 ft Penn Yan and 16 ft Alumicraft. I don't like to over tighten it on the ramp and over stress the bow eye. You should not have to do this more than once when your on level ground. Get a safety chain.
  3. Frog Toggs
  4. Hey my friends from north of the border. I got a couple of Salmon flashers I bought 12-15 years ago and I want to pick up a couple more but can't find any info online for them. One of the blanks says Kingfisher 11 made in Canada. Anybody have any info on this brand to help me out? This is the only information I could find regarding these flashers and I believe its from 2016 Anybody familiar with this Capt I could contact him for some info? Thanks

  6. Signs are down in Mexico Bay
  7. Some fish in the Bay last weekend in as close as 130. Took a lot of shots but our landing percentage was terrible on the rough Lake. Sunday was bad Saturday was down right nasty.
  8. I ran two out of a 15 ft Alumacraft for years with out issue and 4 off a 17 ft Starcraft fishmaster so I really don't see what the problem running two from your boat would be. I liked the 2 ft per turn retrieve and the crank handle on the top.
  9. Get ready they are right outside our front door in deep water. Fished 300-500 fow on Saturday with a very nice family. Spoons, flys and meat all took fish. Won't be long and they will be stacked up in the Bay. Around two dozen bites.
  10. Could be out deeper.
  11. Either your reel is overfull or you are getting loose wire on the spool.
  12. What area of the lake are you going to fish?
  13. Sept is kind of late for silver fish most years but you can still find Bronze fish that still have nicely colored good eating meat. The deep water 2 year olds are still dime bright silver. Most years we have plenty of Browns in Mexico Bay in Sept and nobody is chasing them.
  14. Set on narrow cone angle full screen and turn the gain down until the clutter goes away.
  15. Great post. Thanks
  16. Try not to leave them in the sun when not being fished. That will help.
  17. Maybe post it up in the classified section. Might get some more views
  18. The report I'm seeing is calling for NW the next couple days
  19. 65 lb power pro 50 if I need the room.
  20. No, I use two. Tell your friend reading comprehension is also an important tool.
  21. We hit a boat load of cookie cutter Browns, a couple big Browns, A low teens King and two small Atlantics on Saturday just west of port. One of the Atlantics was tagged so we called the number. It was stocked in Port Dalhousie in November of last year . Pretty cool.
  22. It's all about getting the most enjoyment out of a smaller fish rather than winching them in on Salmon gear.
