Yankee I admit Billy came aboard with his flashers/flies combos sat and said run these 3 now and switch to these 3 when i tell you later. CONFIDENCE/KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE with what he does with them is amazing and i thank him for helping me out. SOOOO if the Yankee troller would extend that offer again to take me aboard and show me a DEEP SET flasher/fly attack.. ALOT MORE TROUT WILL SURVIVE IN 2010 TOURNAMENTS! Rob, unfortunately this is "LEGACY ROB" buck and i am guesing by his horn size, you may be waiting a few years to hunt him. He is one of 2 button buck brothers i am watching. BEWARE MAMA DOE is usually near! John, It does not look much better for "JR JOHN" yes this is a pick of your buck. GOOD news is you will be hunting him at least 6 months BEFORE ROBS buck!!! JERRY

Justin, I can tell you having had Pennslyvania hunters on my charters for the past 25+ years and me asking that question every other time out. The consenses is that rifles are NOT so much a safety issue. The main effect of rifles (as shade pointed out) is the distance/accuracy & power they give hunters there, that it shows in size and age (lack of) of mainly bucks. ANY DEER that steps out into a corner of a field at dawn or dusk GETS SHOT AT!!! They even tried a 3 point minimum on one rack to leave some bucks grow. The saying there is " I NEED TO GO GAS UP MY TREE STAND " ROAD HUNTING AT ITS WORST. JERRY

Rick that would be very BAD LUCK/KARMA to shoot a buck named after you! SOOOOO i am going to name the other big bucks "VILLY B" & legacy Rob & FX shawn. now that should cover my good karma now!!! NOTE TO SELF: if i get any more friends i will need to name more bucks!! JERRY

justin & rob that last buck is very young. These are pics of same buck earlier this year. VERY DISTINCTIVE MARKINGS : big white eye patches-all 4 feet/ankles have white soxs on them (dirty brown up higher)& big white inside patches behind rear legs at inside knee joints. He even crosses this same trail. Justin i will get name off empty food plot seed bags later for you. ANTLER KING +%30 protein =red clover/chickory/brassica mix!!!!!!!

Rob thats good to know. I can watch the cams and see what ones disapear first. I have alot of BIG 2 1/2 year old buck pics ( I just posted), do you think the predominant buck in this area will kick them out. Most of the 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 year old bucks are brothers (watch them grow since buttons)? All your info really helps me out here THANKS!! JERRY

Bringley, This particular spot is east of rochester /Ontario- Wayne county and the bucks are left alone to grow. That is why i asked on my other post (DEER Gene pool on property) if the odd racks should be taken or left to grow also? They grow REALLY fast horns out this way, guessing because of all the farms/food they have available year round. I am trying high protein/buck antler food plots to see if that adds to this. WAIT till i post some pictures of the shooters we left alone past couple years!! Thanks for any advice, I will post shooter pics soon and will be checking cams later next week for updated pics. I have cut it and fertilized it once already! The bucks here have a great/old gene pool that grows racks really quick. Cannot wait to see what high protein food plots add to the mix. BUCK#1 This guy has 5 POINTS on right side and 2 HEAVEY POINTS on left BUCK#2 This guy has his brow tynes about to touch together.(picture early on this year) BUCK#3 Has a CLUB at end of left side BUCK# 4 & 5 are the same buck that was a skinny TALL 6 point buck last year and this year he is a TALLER-SKINNIER 8 POINT buck JERRY RUNNIN REBEL I just added this bigger 3 point buck.

BOB, You are missing some important BUSINESS FACTS here. This past Mon Me & family ate at the NEW CARLTON Rest. on rt. 98. Had GREAT meal, sat next to fish tank, and owner of the rest. even offered my 4 yr old daughter some of the new born baby fish!! Had a nice conversation w/Capt. Ron Penna (Bucaroo) also. Next went to Narby,s and Sharron herself cashed me out a nice big $$$ receipt for $324.76 TOTAL!!! (Yes i could buy what i needed at oswego or sodus tackle shops for pro-ams) BUT SHARON took great care of me and even took the extra time to show my shy daughter the latest-n-greatest in pink fishing poles! Yesterday: Drove back to oak and dropped off considerable cash to an oak orchard charter boat who i am possitive will spend it on (AS YOU SAY gas at lake breeze and beer at BNI) Then bought fresh fruit at a stand in kuckville and finally gased up $53.00 at K & K in Kendal (bought large pizza Tue.=pizza special day) ALL IN ORLEANS COUNTY!!! BOB< SANDY CREEK BOATS DID OUT NUMBER OAK BOATS LAST YEAR!!! Last tourn. of year in sept was canceled day of tourny. I was in charge of RETURNING $100 entry fees to Sandy boats from Mike Waterhouse who had the cash refunds. Oak entries Sept 2008 tourny = 1 YOU Sandy creek entries Sept. 2008 tourny = 2 Rebel/trout-n-about & lakerunner Most importantly this is a memorial. I would bet you 2 tickets to the WHITBY BLACK BALLET 2010 that more people read "AT THE OAK" (Joe-shirley aka: CONDOR MEMORIAL) were from outside of Orleans County than in it. So if these oak tournies are "TO support our annual ORLEANS COUNTY PRO-AMS" Why would you want to LIMIT the enrty pool from anybody willing to dish out $100? I gurantee you the OAK BUSINESS will make more $$$ for their volunteered time if the $ prize structure was supported on the orleans Pro-AMs threw MORE ENTRIES in these oak tournies. Another words The OAK BUSINESS' will make more $ in a Pro-AM week-end than they will from the "ONLY LOCAL OAK BOATS" who will spend the exact same $ at their port with or with-out these oak tournies. There is NO upside in extra income for the business' or 2010 orleans Pro-Am support from ONLY drawing entries that are locals spending the same $ with or with-out these new tournies. TAKE ALL AND EVERY $100 you can!!!! THANKS for the time and effort... P.S. Hans these tournaments were run last year including Sandy Creek. Why would you stop the added income from Sandy boats and get totaly NOTHING for doing it except Less $ for the Orleans Pro-Ams? And yes when there is a tournament in Oswego you can fish from Mexico pt. AND a tournament in olcott, yes you can fish out of wilson. Thanks again for the rant...
