Had the chance to have Rob come out and hunt with us sunday. Racoon and swamp mud was our morning. This buck we called "LEFT CLUB" he has a Club of a antler on his left side. How does he go from this? To MUD LEFT CLUB ? Another swamp buck story when I get back. JERRY REBEL

No problem John, What else am i doing at 6AM watching lake? Notice the RED BELLIES and some tank tales on the fish pics you see now (were Fish stuck to bottom) Not no more! Well that weather forecast got me as i rescheduled my charter. Cold water upwellings here lift fish HIGH in the water column. The higher the fish the MORE they move/travel, once fish loose ALL contact with lake bottom they keep moving with larger warm water pockets/bait & currents. Not good news for us, you will see browns in top 50' OVER 400' miles off shore while the majority of fish will head east(deeper-stable water less impact of northeast lake roll over. Fish just don't reappear in LARGE numbers again. It usually takes days. WATCH THE SALMON-BROWN L.O.C. LEADER BOARD from aug 28th(lake inshore cold water) till labor day. You will see Sodus bay EAST to Henderson cut start to take majority of places. GOOD news for us here is you fish this type of water 2 ways TIGHT to shore HIGH & EARLY or the best way is too go offshore and fish it as a reverse break(same as spring thermal bar fishing IN REVERSE) this is best chance to get those BIG Canadien silver-fresh kings coming across lake now, Down cold water break will slow these fish up temporarily off shore IF BAIT IS THERE ALSO! If "SHONGO"-- Dennis "BUTCH" Tiberio --out of the oak showed you how to bend/tune dodgers for speed, You were taught by one of THE BEST FISHERMAN this WHOLE LAKE ever had!! He was caught 44' down over 67' water. We ran a 6 rigger spoon set CLEAN in WARM WATER LOOKING. This is a pic of sat 22nd charter, THAT IS CHAD ( BLUE EYE ) top left holding up board (behind the big smile!!!) Chad 1st mated for me that day. He did VERY WELL paying attention to DETAILS (reading offshoe bait and down temp. breaks ) and was responsible for multiple hits we had that day . We ended up 14 for 15 releasing 2 fish. We fished 85-125 till 10AM (boated 5 but hits were slow) We ran offshore 420-440 and did the rest. 6 rigger CLEAN SPOON set with 1 cut bait clean. 2 spinnies white with white & green flies on outriggers 225'/250' BIG RINGS on 3.5 settings WAY FAR/BEHIND FROM rigger set. Mike we got one also tonite, and a few naturals this past week. YES they are naturals (no adipose fin clip) and YES they are WAY smaller in size on average (because they spend most if not ALL their 1st year in stream catching bugs/small prey. WERE AS STOCKED/pen reared fish are feed EVERY HOUR / EVERY DAY high protein pellets and protected till release at which time they are MAMOTH IN SIZE to naturals of same age. Lake Ontario can only sustain so many salmonoids per prey ratio. EVERY DEC MODEL has shown this since the first meetings i went to 20+++ YEARS AGO. dON'T GET ME STARTED ON THIS ONE but wait to stocking evaluation time!!! JERRY RUNNIN REBEL

ROB, You are like the snapple bottle caps with your GREAT DEER FACTS!!! You think the deer will hit my first year food plot or stick with the apples they are used too? Or both till gone? Hard to believe they are growing racks that big here on mostly apples if apples do not have much nutritional value. PLEASE KEEP POSTING UP. as i am new to alot of this. LADY BLUE GILL, That is a very cool deer. TRIPLE BROW tyne i would bet is not that common ANYWERE! You think the apples help bigger horns and body on bucks there? Curious because i just planted antler king food plot (+ %30 protein) first time this year. Hey Salmonite, How do you think he hides that body and rack every year???? Some hidding spot i bet. JERRY
