Thanks Ken for the update ! This is a GREAT fishing season starter/get together. Fun day trip you can bring wife & family to and FEED for a good price too. Great facility with indoor bar and indoor great room upstairs to accomodate. Not to mention I believe $$$ goes to fish pen project in Genesee river/Rochester and charter association that FIGHTS FOR ALL OF US EVERYDAY ! JERRY RUNNIN REBEL

Bob, Unfortunately Canada will get windmills, simple fact their government has say/owns majority of infastructure/property and laws. In N.Y. Erie county & Niagara county and possibly Monroe county (Abandoned Russell station power plant perfect fit into the power grid) will be best bets for a YES VOTE to get them here. These seem to be on a fast track bypassing enviromental & economical impact studies some how. JERRY RUNNIN REBEL

While taking Lake temps last week or so and watching turkeys in full strut in middle of march. Not to mention we broke an all time record +86 degrees today and 1st march on record we had NO measurable snow here. Lake Erie has had no ice for a while and 45-50 temps west (Sandusky-Toledo area--Buffalo harbor area 46 degree dumping into Niagara river). I decided to take a trip to area creeks/streams & rivers. Most were lower & clearing up. What concerns me is the rising temps this early, ALL Pen projects for the salmon could be affected by this. If the creek temps warm to fast the D.E.C. would have no choice but to skip putting Kings into pens and direct stock into creek, or very least limit time in pens. Kings are not due for another week or so I hope temps level to cool down. IT IS A HUGE ADVANTAGE having these fish in pens feeding every hour on high protein pellets as long as possible. All i am saying is there are 2 built in shore line gun turrets on the lake front perimeter. Troll by quietly or stay low. JERRY RUNNIN REBEL PS no more shore ice any where. Water still very low. Mud line out to 15'-18' feet of water now with strong NE 35 MPH winds.

You cannot have a fiscally responsible "business" IF: A: That business is overstaffed with union employees that collect pensions forever after 10-20 years service(see New Jersey state pension plan outlook). That cannot be laid off or prevailing government wage cannot be lowered. B: That business never needs to make a profit. C: That business has unlimited funds/debt it CAN CONTROLL. D: That business has No competition and is TOTALLY OUT OF TOUCH with the real world/customers needs and practices US. Jay C, Great pics, KEEP THEM COMING (always bring batteries with you in colder weather). Bigger bucks around here lose their horns first. Last sets of horns i saw on smaller bucks was around this time last year FEB. 19th. Snow was gone last year by march 5th. Shed hunting started then. ONLY 2 WEEKS from now !!!!
