  1. I second the fish doctor rods. I own 7 of them. BT rods, Salmon rods, kid sticks and a steelhead specific casting rod. Love them all.
  2. Look in craigslist on the west coast. Tough time to be looking for one. They are all getting used.
  3. Welcome to the brotherhood.
  4. Fleet Tracker, the response from Rich D was directed at Salmon Slapper not you. He doesn't know what he is talking about unless he works for Diawa and has prototypes, which I bet he doesn't. As far as I know the reels aren't available yet. Many of us are also waiting for the reels to hit the market. Good luck with your set up.
  5. I have spent many hours on this boat. This boat catches fish. Clean and in great shape given it's age. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer one. A must see if you are seriously looking.
  6. We use our Boga Grip to hold the fish in the water to revive them.We feel this is the best way do do it since they are heading into the current in a natural position. The water is flowing into their mouth and there are no fingers near the gills to possibly harm them. The boga grip also allows a few more inches of length for us hanging over the high sided boat we fish out of.
  7. Look at Wesmac boats if you want a great rough water boat that wont roll like the others. Very costly boats but awesome.Have it built YOUR way too.
  8. That was great Nicolas. I enjoyed reading that. I love the excitement that kids show at the challenges. Keep the kids fishing and introduce one of their friends to a fishing trip if you can. They are our future voice to keep the lake fishery alive.
  9. Lost my son's GoPro camera in my underwater housing I made. The Berkley steel leader crimp gave way that was attaching it to the DR ball. He's got the new version GoPro now. He's happy....I'm not.
  10. Lost my son's GoPro to the lake this weekend and need to replace it. So if you have one in perfect working order that is sitting around collecting dust, maybe we can work something out. PM me as to what you have and what you want for it. Thanks. Brad
  11. Rod you did the right thing. Hey we all screw up from time to time. Justin will come around. Would it have been possible for the observer to call / radio into tourney control to ask the rules question? Whats the ruling on that? Hope you have a better day two and get the big fish, a big cooler and the comeback award if they have one.
  12. If you are looking for a remote throttle control, I am your guy. I Rep. for ConTrollKing and offer LOU members special pricing. Once you get your kicker, give me a shout. As long as its a 4 stroke, we should have a model for it. Think 8 hp engine for your size boat. I fish out of a fiberglass 24 footer with an 8 hp and it does fine. [email protected]
  13. I believe they are built by or in conjunction with a major brand. maybe the other way around. Contact the dealer or a dealer and ask the shop guys there.
  14. Contact Propgod.com in Florida. He has the answers. Also has props he can mail you to try first.
  15. Chamberlains....No looking back. Once and done. Best release out there.
  16. A ConTrollKing remote throttle control will cost you $209. shipped to your door in the US. Email me at [email protected] if you have an interest. I am a ConTrollKing Rep. and have been offering BEST pricing to members of this forum for a while now. Brad
