  2. Farrging Tweakers!!! Chop their fingers off if they get caught like they do in some middleastern countries. That might stop a few from taking up the profession.
  3. I own 6 of the Doctors Rods. 4 salmon sticks and 2 for Brown trout sticks. It is so easy dealing with a short rod in the back of the boat while rigging and they really can make short order of just about any fish. They make dipsey rods too.
  4. Tom, Thanks for stepping up and helping out with this one as well as all you do for all the other events. Jordan and I plan on being around for this one as well. We are willing to do whatever we can on Friday or Saturday to help out and make things easier. Please do not hesitate to call on us if you need some help.
  5. Erin, Been thinking about ya too. Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope things work out soon so you can get back in the swing of things. Brad
  6. I may have some Jitterflys hanging around. If you want to buy them, PM me and I will dig what I have out and we can make a deal. I think I had about 8-10 at one time. They are in a box in the garage. Brad
  7. Chamberlain Has come out with a stacker now. I havent used it but it is basically the same release mechanism and his regular release. Check out his website.

  9. On my buddies boat we put up 2 white dry erase boards with the intention of writing down what lures were down, the depth, set back etc. Now our kids use them for tic tac toe, and all sorts of other stuff. This keeps them busy from time to time.

  15. Great Idea Rod. This has made for some great reading thanks to Duane. Sounds like he was one heck of a nice guy. I dont currently own a boat buy my last one was named: Nemesis. Seemed like a good name because we are always trying to out smart the fish and some times we dont. Thus the name. The fish are my Nemesis. Past boats have been: "Wired for Fun" my last name is Wyard. And I stole the name "Nothing But Net" from a boat I saw being trailered down I-90 going east one day. Both these last boats were defective and went back the factory with hull issues. 3 new boats is less than a year and a half. I hope to fish with Duane on the big pond in the sky some day.
  16. So sad to lose a fellow fisherman. RIP brother.
  17. Way to go ladies and Werner!!! Super job.
  18. I would like to see a picture of that 40+ fish that was just caught. I would love to drag one of them up to the taxidermist.
  19. I heard its a brown trout bite. Salmon are few and far between.
  20. Jeff that is so cool that you guys did that. Really special for all involved. The puppy was like the icing on the cake. I got choked up a bit.
  21. Better days are sure to follow. Hang in there bud!!! See you at the LSRC as always.
  22. Let the copper out slowly down the chute. Stop it every so often and let it get tight, then let out more. It sinks pretty fast if you just "dump" it. You can dump it if it is the first thing out, but i still make it get tight once in a while. I will then put it on the walleye board. Let it go out down the chute and father than I think if I have a dipsey in the water. I will then reel it up and into place in my spread. Let it out slowly and make the line get tight, then let out more line. Repeat until all your line is out to where you want it.
