Excellent condition. Barely used. With owner's manual. $300. I live in Canadice, NY. It is very heavy so it will need to be picked up. -
I'm also having trouble finding a place to buy a gill net (not a cast net) that meets NY DEC regs (max. 25', max 200 square feet, max 1" mesh). Do any of you know where such a net can be purchased? thanks, dre

Hi all, i have been out several nights with lights and have attracted 100s if not 1000s of alewives to about 4 feet beneath the surface. I have been unable to get them with a dipnet. Then i tried Sabiki rigs and caught only 6 in 2 hours. What is the most effective way to get a good haul of alewives (again, i am able to draw them to my boat with lights, i just don't know how to get them IN my boat). I wish i could use a throw net (those were so effective when i lived in Texas). I am surprised to see that gill nets are allowed for alewives. I have never used a gill net. I presume they have weights on the bottom and i could just let it down, attached to my boat? I appreciate any input on how to catch alewives. thanks! dre from the DEC fishing regs: GEAR FOR TAKING BAITFISH In addition, alewives are the only fsh that may be taken as follows: Gill nets: maximum length 25 feet, maximum area 200 square feet, maximum size 1" bar Anytime Canadice, Canandaigua, Cayuga, Hemlock, Keuka, Owasco, Otisco, and Seneca lakes.

Hi all, I have 2 Trail cameras that take photos but the "shutter speed" (i don't know the correct term) is so slow that unless the deer is in front of the camera for about 5-6 seconds, it doesn't take a photo. I know this because i have walked passed it numerous times without it taking a photo of me. If I spend 5 or more seconds in front of it, it takes a photo. Can you guys recommend a good trail cam for a guy on a budget? thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving, andre

Hi all, the only way I am likely to catch walleye is trolling at night in 7-12 fow. When i have fished Conesus in the afternoon, I mark quite a few fish (that look good size) near the bottom in 25-40 fow. Are those likely walleye and if so, do any of you have success jigging for them? I have jigged lots of lake trout and other species and was thinking of trying some soft plastics and jigging for them. Any advice, info, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me. thanks! andre

i'm curious which is the better walleye lake. I live MUCH closer to Conesus and manage to get a few each year. I have never fished Otisco. thanks! andre

I have seen TONS of bass fisherman targeting bass on Conesus before June. It must be allowed there. Do you know if it's legal to target bass on Hemlock pre-season if you immediately release them? thanks, andre
