  1. Gentlemen This is a one day event.. Late August is the time of yr!! Big mature kings are what we are hoping to see at the scales. There are Plenty of great products being given away as well as the cash $$$$$ !! We have... A Tom Mik , Stinger, Fish Hawk TD s , Northern King Lures and more.. The cash was donated from Twin Village Recycling in Depew NY .. So if you guys have scrap metal of any kind please stop by and support this buisiness that is supporting us.. And don't forget to get your boat pass from your local weigh station.. Again it is $100.00 boat fee for the one day event. This is in addition to the other entry you have already payed for..let's go out w a bang.. And some big bucks.. Don't forget all fish must be weighed in no later than 3:30 pm on Sunday August 28,2011.. You may fish all open waters of the lake.. Start time is 5:30 am.. Good luck to all Chris [ Post made via iPhone ]
  2. Salmon boy That is correct. All boat entries are 100.00 per boat. If you want to fish for the large one day payout.. Thanks Chris [ Post made via iPhone ]
  3. Yes there will be 2 mini tourneys going on we just haven't set the august date yet and when u win the pedd your money is sent out at the end of the week that u won.. The mini tourney you get paid at the end of the tourney after weigh in are completed and scores are tallied Thanks Chris [ Post made via iPhone ]
  4. Oh my!!! Blah blah blah blah blah.. Paul asked a simple question and apparently he got stories and opinions instead of an answer ..Boys this is a simple tournament go catch 12 fish come back to dock by 2.. WTF is so hard about this?? Y is everyone whining like they are 6 yrs old.. If youdon't like the rules then don't fish plain and simple. The single most important issue is to bring the no comm back to this event. Nothing else needs to change!! Work on getting no comm back in place is tough enough w o all the whining and complaining and it's always easier to sit on the outside and complain and vioce your oppinions then it is to get involved .. Seriously involved.... to help make the changes that would be needed to help this tourney along..the rules are simple.. If you follow them your ok if you don't your getting dq or penalized for not reading them. Any body wonder y the captains meetings last for 2 hrs and not 1 hr?? Because nobody pays attention.. There's always issues and concerns about people who just don't read and understand the rules.. We can not keep ad libbing things into this tourney just because.. The rule have been the same for 20 yrs. When do we catch on to them? Like I said before if you and your crew don't like the rules as written then stay home and cry on your wifes shoulder cause im sure most of us are sick of reading it. If you and your team can except the rules for what they are as written then come on down and lets have some fun fishing and ball breaking.. You guys can whine all ya want I'm going fishing.. Just how I feel Chris [ Post made via iPhone ]
  5. If I had the paper 12 yrs ago when the rule changed I would have signed it then!! I have a pen now I need the paper.. Where do I sign boys Chris [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  6. Someone was bored at work last Monday lol blah blah blah blah blah... I don't even have enough time to read it let alone write it.. Sure glad I don't have to pay ur salary... Lmao [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  7. Gentlemen As of today 5/26/11 captains cove has received our first case of new cut bait from Erie Diery / fish on bait company .. This new bait is a exact mimic to the rhys Davis of the old days.. I have been diligently working countless hrs to try and perfect this bait w them.. Supplies are limited as for this weekend we only have one fresh case that is salted to sell.. If you want it come and get it because it won't last long.. Lol we will receive our next shipment soon so if you would like to put an order in please give us a call @ 585-682-3316. I have been field testing this bait since last August and I can tell you this bait holds up. Trolling is no longer a problem the bait will not wash out.. You can also re use the bait after catching a fish providing the fish doesn't inhale it lol.. We will be getting bait in soon that is not salted as well but we are at the mercy of the bait co.. They told me 2 weeks or less for the un salted bait. Thanks Chris [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  8. I could not agree more with you. The water from the plant to the bar is just plain mud mud mud.. The temp is exactly as you said it was. I fishes both sat and sun and experienced the exact same day. Sat we had browns coho lt and a big 15 lb Atlantic all fish were taken infront of the microwave in olcott . We went west on sunday and found lakers all over everywhere. Multiple quad hook ups was fun and our biggest was 19 lbs .. Out of all the people I talked to it was the same story lakers lakers lakers.. If anyone try's to tell you different well they are not fishing in niagra county. The reports posted make me laugh.. Fisherman are true liars as the poems go.. Most of what read is bs.. That's a fact. I'm glad to finally see someone honestly post the truth... Thanks bob and props to you [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  9. Guys, I stand corrected the web site can only record weight on the ounce in decimals only! I don't know why this is either but each weigh station has a conversion chart. So a 25.14 fish will show up as a 25.875 fish . Thanks and sorry for the confusion Chris [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  10. All fish weighed are to be processed as a decimal in ounces. The web page I guess for some strange reason will not except just the ounce.. The ounce is to be converted to a decimal and the recorded and entered via the net Thanks Chris [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  11. The weigh stations are to record weights in pounds/ ounces if they use a decimal in place of a slash that's fine but we are only taking it to the nearest ounce 21.5 lbs not 21.050 or shale I say ounces will be in tenths Chris [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  24. The Payeverydayderby will most definatley be around for next season as well as the future yrs to come. Thanks tom for your supporting opinion of the derby. We are currently working on next season now and we are more concerned about the low number turn out for the first yr. We thought it would take a little better than it did. We want to pay out every single day the most amount of moneys as possable and the only way to do this is to have entries into the derby. We do not gurantee a thousand dollars a day as of yet but we will. and we want to. We are not the 1000,00 a day derby.. not even close.. we have a future to think about and we continue to support our fishery whenever we can. We hope that this yrs solid performance of payouts have shown the winners that we are no joke and everyone else that has doubts about it are gone for good.. We want to give this money away every single day we have a winner...all we need is for the guys to get off there duffs and get in the game. lol maybe some day we can put 2,3, thousand or more in the pockets of our daily winners. wouldn t that be great goin to work for a day on the lake.....We also would like to thank everyone who has supported us through our first season..Fish on and we will see you may 1 2011.. Sincerely Chris
