Since divers are not a stealth tactic I’m not so concerned about the line diameter. I usually run a 6-8’ 40lb fluorocarbon leader. I will occasionally run a 50lb mono leader as I feel it provides some give/stretch. I do not use snubbers.
Thanks Rich. Here is the website I use for the bouy data… Oak Orchard Bouy Data
Great info. Definitely helps eliminate dead water. I wish the bouy offshore of Rochester had the temp at depth data as well.
Nice fish! We did not fish Saturday but did get out on Sunday for a quick 2-3 hour trip. Left I-Bay and headed north, set up in 200’ and trolled to 330. Temp was 50-70’ down. Ran 2- 200’ coppers, 2- 300’ coppers, and 2 riggers. All took fish. 1 Steelhead and 4 Kings. Spoons- Hulk, 42nd, Watermelon, Chilly Willy, Spook, NBK. Will be out again Saturday morning for an all day affair. The smile on my sons face is priceless!

Is it the Point-1 AP heading sensor?
That unit needs to be free and clear of any electrical interference. That is most likely your problem. Relocate the heading sensor and you issue will most likely be resolved.
