iceman I am pretty sure anyone that is on this site knows enough about boats and what they should and should not buy. its not like the guy is trying to sell this boat with a blown motor or something maybe for him it is the "perfect boat" for oneida just let the man sell his boat.

I really hate to sell her but the car cant pull it and I am just going to get a smaller boat to go to the finger lakes I will be only 25 min away from 3 of them when i get the new place. and I can always go out with foster on the school master even though it does not catch fish like mine

I have a 1977 star craft chieftain 22'. It has an inline 6 that just had a brand new electric ignition put in in the fall 2 new battaries, fish hawk 840, 2 cannon mag10s electric down riggers, lots of pole holder, new lawrance fish finder, new vhf radio, all safety equipment new floor over the winter. This boat is ready to fish all you need is the poles and tackle. I just bought this boat in the fall of last from year rustyrat but I am moving away from lake Ontario closer to my job because of gas prices. My car is to small to tow it. It weighs 1700lbs it also comes with a new rebuilt trailer in great condition. The lower unit on the boat just had the bellows and the seals on the lower unit replaced last fall. I would like to get 2,500 I would also consider a trade for a smaller boat or let me know what you have like I said this boat will do me no good because I can not tow it. I hate to see it go but it will make someone looking to get into a bigger boat very happy with out breaking the bank.

ok well I hope some one can help I am looking to get the boat to slow down a little what prop would i need? I have a 22' aluminum islande with an in line 6. it slows down with he bags out but I would like to get it were i can just troll down.

well I would say we "catch" fish on your boat but I think it more like you lose fish on your boat and mine haha. man it would have been nice to see the school masters name on the board another time we all cant get the fish to the boat like me.

I heard from someone that if you switch from a triple hook to a single it could mess up the action on your spoon due to loss of wheight any one know if this is true. god i hope not i just changed all 300 spoons to single :x

thats kind of what i ment I have seen alot of fish this year come right up look at it then nothing. I think after that hapeens 2 or 3 times it is safe to say they are not in to what I have on and it might be time to change colors

I was just asking myself this the other day. I am going to start changing moreoften. I have had alot of fish come from 20' up or down to do nothing more then just look. so if i start seeing that i will be changing if they are not hitting. I do like to try to change my speed alot also.

yeah we went 4 for 4. all came on purple and blck the two bigger ones came right west of the creek down 70 over 95 fow. do you have a vhf radio? if not you should get one anytime we are out we give reports to all the boats on colors and depths we are always on 72. yeah that other boat name is "ontario" the grady white is fosters and thats the "school master" I have a 22' islander brown and white mine is the "happy hooker". anytime you are out there 90% of the guys will let you know how they are doing there are many fish to be netted we are not worried about some one steling our hot spot lol.
