  1. I've pulled 10 color leadcores with them and they did just fine. Don't see why they wouldn't do well with copper, too.
  2. Thanks for all the replies! I obviously had it out last season and it never got put back where it should have gone, so must have worked. Gonna use it again this season!
  3. Shouldn't be more than around $7 USPS depending on your location
  4. I recently upgraded to load range D tires on the boat trailer and have the old load range C ones available if anyone needs a set or a spare tire. All (4) are Load Star brand. (3) are the Karrier radial, (1) is the K550 bias. The K550 was my spare and has never been installed on an axle; tread still has the little nubbies. The Karriers have about 5000 miles on them. All are load range C. White spoke wheels are included. Asking $50 for all (4) but will separate if you only need (1) or (2). I'll be back up in Pulaski beginning of July or if you're local, I'll meet up with you. Thanks! Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. New price - $50.00 for the pair. I'm willing to ship them to you or deliver beginning of July when I'm back up to the lake in Pulaski.
  6. Didn't even think of them. Could very well be. Thanks!
  7. Can anyone help identify the manufacturer of this spoon? I was cleaning out the boat this weekend and came across this spoon which I obviously used last year because it wasn't in the tackle box where it should have been. It's chrome on the reverse side and has a silver glitter on the rough textured green paint. Anyone have a clue? No stampings anywhere on it. Thanks! 8. I have a set of Michigan Stinger Dive Bombs. One each of the 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 6oz, 8oz and 12oz. The 1oz package has (2) Dive Bombs inside. Asking $20 for all or will separate. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Brand new Magnum sized Dipsy Diver. Kelly Green w/white bottom. Package never opened. Asking $15, includes shipping. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Cleaning out the tackle boxes over the weekend and selling some items. (2) 1/4lb spools of Ande 25# pink fishing line. Both new with the rubber bands holding the line to the spool. $10 for both, plus shipping. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. I have a handheld as a back-up in case something happens to the main hardwired radio. True, range isn't as good as the main radio, but it does work. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I have a pair of collapsible cedar planer boards for sale. The sides measure 32" long and opened up they measure 12" across. When collapsed, they are 36" long and 3" across. The wood is in nice shape with only a few scratches. I added the yellow tape to make them more visible in the bigger waves. I haven't used these in a few years and just making more room on the boat for other gear and equipment. Asking $50 for the pair. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I'm basically a weekend warrior throughout the season, with 2 weeks a year on vacation and on the water as much as possible. I love Tekotas and have worked with them on friends' boats. I'm replacing 6 reels, so the Tekotas would be pricey in the end, but I know they'd last and hold up. Decisions, decisions... Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I felt the 15lb drag perhaps wouldn't be enough, as well. Thanks for offering up that bit of info. I'm upgrading from Daiwa SG47LCA's which I got many, many solid years out of. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Yup, I know that saying. I do have Tekotas for my dipseys, though. Well, was just on the Okuma website and the Convectors are no longer shown in the product line. Discontinued?? Perhaps replaced with the Cold Water line? Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I'm upgrading to all new reels on my downrigger rods and was pretty much set on Okuma Convectors. While browsing one of the LOU sponsors online catalogs, I came across the Penn Warfare line counters. I'm sure they're made outside the US, as are many reels these days. Anyone have any experience with them or offer any insights? The WAR30LWLC is capable of holding a ton of 30# line, which is what I use. Holds more than the CV-30D Okumas, according to the specs. Priced about the same as the Convectors, too. Thoughts? Thanks! Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. My old boat had an older 75 Evinrude and that thing would troll all day long and never gave me issues when the time came to throttle up and run back in. I ran her at a 50:1 mix. Sent from my XT1060 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I have a (2) battery system on my Islander. One is a dedicated starting battery, while the second one handles all the electronics and other miscellaneous items on the boat. I have them isolated through a heavy-duty solenoid which energizes when the main engine is running, thus charging both batteries. When I shut the main engine down, the solenoid opens, isolating both batteries and ensuring the main battery will always have enough juice to start the main engine. With the main engine off, all accessories and electronics are pulling solely off the secondary battery. I have a Group-27 for the secondary battery and it'll go a good portion of the day running the chartplotter, VHF radio, depth finder and downriggers before it shows signs it needs to be charged up.
