Hats off to the top finishers! We couldn't do any better than a shade under 9 and went for ice cream at 1:00 pm. What we lacked in weight we made up for w/ some good action. Had a great time and the boy's arms are sore. Lotta fun - see you all again. -Andy

Clear water made for some tough BT fishing but found a few good ones. Some exciting small mouth action kept things from being dead. Was going to head out off shore but radio reports were not promising. Pretty smooth shakedown. Had a little trouble engaging the starter to get going but got it after a bit. Later Hank quickly discovered that unless I make sure that my shift control clicks into the neutral detent and stays right there the starter circuit switch is off even though the drive is not engaged.

Dbutts, don't feel bad about getting your boat in now- you have the whole season ahead of you. I know how it goes- I fished all winter and I was so pumped for April Browns and then I got swamped at work and on the farm and I'm finally gonna get back out tomorrow for the first time since the end of March!
