  1. The kid in the passenger seat at the end of the video looks little green
  2. If you look at the hull ID on the boat itself the last two #'s will tell the year
  3. https://www.smokercraft.com/sites/smokercraft.com/files/catalogs/2010-Smoker-Craft-Fishing-Catalog.pdf Link to 2010 Catalog above. Ultima and Promag are two different boats, always have been. If you look at the options page in the brochure the Ultima was only available in red and blue that year. Pro-Mag only in black. In their multi-species boats they have Millentia, Ultima, Pro-Mag, Pro Angler. I do agree about the motor it looks a little older. Actually so does the boat now that I look at it more. The graphics on the boat do not match that of a 2010. They match the 2007/2008. Also in 2008 Smoker started mounting the windshields on a molded section of the dash raised up from the top of then gunwale. In the picture of the boat posted the windshield is mounted directly to the top of the gunwale, last year they did this was 2008. So if the hull ID states 2010 is a little weird. Smokercrafts past catalogs can be viewed here. https://www.smokercraft.com/media/legacy-catalogs
  4. What are last two digits on hull ID?
  5. Question about the model. Add says its a 192 'Ultima" model decal on side of boat states "Pro-Mag" Also are you sure about the year? Smokercraft does not list a 192 Pro-Mag for 2010 https://www.smokercraft.com/media/legacy-catalogs
  6. Yeah that sucks to have to deal with that. We ship a few thousand orders a month so we get those too. Typically anything big like that over 3k or so we make sure to talk with the customer on the phone so we are both on the same page about what was ordered and what is expected. If the customer feels to us like something is off we just cancel & refund. Unfortunately that is the world we live in today. However the internet has given people like us access to customers all over the globe we would not have otherwise. So we take the good with the bad. I think we successfully hijacked Rich's thread
  7. Oh yeah nice riggers at a nice price! When I rigged the new boat last year I took a hard look at this same model ended up going in a different direction. Had Cannons on previous boats with no issues ever.
  8. Yup we get customers on a semi regular basis stating "transaction not approved" or something of that nature months after the sale. The key with PayPal is to have proof of delivery. If you have verified delivery confirmation (tracking) PayPal will side with the seller and put the money back in your account. Its still a hassle though. On any big ticket item a few bucks for "signature confirmation" is money well spent.
  9. Buy some Starboard and make what you want. Easy to work with using standard wood working tools. I have made electronics mounts, fender holders and several other items using it. Its not the cheapest material but perfect for the job. Comes in white, black, grey and maybe some other colors too. Ill post some pics when I get a chance.
  10. Here is my 2 cents..... The foam panels, pool noodles, ping pong balls etc might be ok for a small boat on an small Adirondack pond or lake. But for Lake Ontario I would not use anything but a Coast Guard compliant spray foam. Spray foam will fill the cavity you are applying it in 100% simply giving you more flotation and no (or certainly less) voids for water to collect or get trapped. Lets say god forbid you hit something in the water that punctures a hole in the hull and you start taking on water. Which product would you want? The other consideration is resale. Not sure I would buy a boat filled with pool noodles. To the guys who have posted above please understand not trying to pick a fight or debate the topic just think there are some more things that should be taken into consideration especially when safety is a involved.
  11. I was introduced to them at the Niagara show. Captain Pete Alex from Vision Quest uses them and he really likes them, he briefly discussed these in the Salmon school. I purchased a pack so we will see. They certainly will make fly changing quicker/easier
  12. Ok just send me a PayPal and I will get them shipped today!
  13. Yeah the towline will probably get into those poles. If it gets under one on an outside turn and you don't realize it when you straighten out or turn back the town line could catch a line guide on the pole and say goodbye to that pole. As Mike mentioned above moving the pulley far forward will help. Forward and high is best. Not sure if the direction the poles are pointing is best either but its tough tell at that angle.
  14. These binders work great for cowbell storage. Case is very durable. I have several of them. https://www.cabelas.com/product/fishing/tackle-storage/tackle-binders-utility-boxes/pc/104793480/c/104777280/sc/104620680/cabelas-utility-binders/2289354.uts?slotId=11
  15. PM Replied. Sold Pending Payment to Sammy
  16. I put mine on the back of the boat as well on a Cisco electronics Mount along with a MFD unit. Best spot for it IMO, when you trolling your at the back of the boat a lot and if your at the wheel your always looking back anyway
  17. Article link below. There is also a picture of one of the boats https://www.marinelink.com/news/uscg-slaps-illegal-pv-operator-fine-463487
