    Just received an order from Savant spoons and Tom wrote that he sold to Brecks International, makers of Mooselook and Thinfish, all inventory in Canada. Savants are some of the finest fish catching spoons I have ever used, quality finishes and top notch hooks. I hope quality control is not sacrificed in the future. Tight lines!

    Looking for help with targeting spring Steelhead. I normally stay close to shore and target Browns this time of year but I would like to change it up and specifically try for Steelhead a few days this spring. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I fish out of Fairhaven. Good luck to all.

    I really like the MC Rocket artificial strips with herring oil. Observe the spin/roll at the side of the boat, adjust until satisfied and send them to the depths. They really do work.

    Had a transducer fail 2 years ago, it would go right to simulate mode. Called HB, nice lady confirmed that it was a transducer issue and promptly replaced it free of charge even though this unit was out of warranty Only issue I ever had. Hope you get things sorted out.

    Great report Buckboard! Always enjoy your posts. I had planned to be out there last weekend as well but ended up in the hospital for 3 day with a blocked bowel of all things! Did not see that coming. Glad I was not on the Big Pond when it happened. Tight lines!
