  1. Its only just begun. He's a bigot a racist if you don't see this you have'nt looked at his history. He has so many law suits coming after
  2. Great to have you back in WNY!! Hope our great fresh water fishing had something to do with your coming back. You should think about joining LOTSA.
  3. Best money I've ever spent on my boat is on my Tr-1!!! Love it!! Current boat 22ft Pennyan I/O with 9.9 merc prokicker. Previous boat 24ft Lund Sportcabin with 9.9 yami. Had Tr-1 on Lund also. Its the only way to set up trolling rig under 25ft IMHO.
  4. When you say Bandits are you meaning there shallow diver or deep diver?? I've looked at them-the paint and finish on them is impressive. Great color selection too. We also have had lots of quality issues with renowskis. If they don't leak or break in half they do catch fish though.
  5. We fished the Bar on monday. Dropped my son off at school at 9am.Setting rods at the dropoff at 10am. We fished till 2:15. Had 6 bites, put 5 matures in boat. We stayed close to border in 70 to 110fow. Ran 4 wire divers all with FF and 2 riggers with big flashers and meat.Spinny white double crush glow with no seeum fly was best. Biggest King about 25lbs. One dark mature was only about 12lbs. Gorgeous day to be on lake!! Thats gonna end our season, can't wait for spring!!
  6. we're gonna hit the bar monday. hope the fish have returned. heard east wind past week moved em off bar, i'm sure some went up river. now we've had 2-3 days of west wind and hoping the great fishing thats been at the bar this fall can return for our final trip of the year!! we'll see what lady O gives us!
  7. My hats off to you making that run solo. Saw the forcast today and thought I was gonna be out there. Heard its been great at the bar!! Bull#### got in the way and we could not get out there. Don't know how much longer its gonna last. Hope to get one more crack at them!
  8. I would study area on your GPS/Chartplotter before heading out. The structure of this area is amazing! But you also neeed to know where the canadian border is. The red can is north of the mouth about 3.5miles in about 45fow. Go north of red can about 1/2 mille and you'll find the dropoff. Dropoff is where the action is especially in spring and fall. Guys typically troll the dropoff in a east to west or west to east pattern in 70 to 120fow. There is still lots of river current at the dropoff. Its got everything to be a hugh magnet to the fish(Kings). Its my favorite fishin hole.
  9. I have a ranger salmon sIze net too and I'm happy with it. Replaced bag last year with some genric bag not happy with that. Where can I get a good bag for a salmon size net?? I like the coated bags that are resistent tob hook penatration. Any advice please.
  10. I'm not complanining. Fish strictly off niagara county and sometimes go into canadian waters. Tons of staging kings at bar right now. some are calling the past month the best they've ever seen. You know if your only getting out twice a week its really hard to stay on top of this fishing. You really gotta watch the weather and pick your days. When the east win blows best to stay home. When it starts coming from SW or W don't expect fishing to get good in 1 day. BTW, I only got out twice a week this year but I was able to pick those days somewhat.Got friends that are out 3-4 days aweek, and always out there when weather is right. I network with these guys and it helps a ton.
  11. Its been suggested that I should try VMC sparkpoint 4X strong treble in size 2 for my stingers and size 1 for my stingray spoons. I looked at some-wow! they are sharp!! Made from vanadium steel and chemically sharpened. Almost never need to sharpen so I'm told. Any opinions?? Any other hooks you guys reccomend???
  12. We lost to many steelys today. We've never gotton into replaceing stock hooks on my trolling spoons. If I wanted upgrade hooks what wouid you guys reccomend?? Ive got quite a collection of NKs,Stingers,Stingrays,DWs and Fishlanders. I know I should be hitting these hooks with a sharping file or stone too. Advice please.
  13. Are you guys NOT in the LOC derby??? Hope you are.
  14. Had the Panther remote steering on my 9.merc pro kicker pushing a 22ft penn yan outrage. Did not like the panther remote steering at all. Came with a new to me boat, took it off half way thru first season with boat and used an ez-steer. Next season put a TR-1 autopilt on kicker been very happy. Previous boat I also had a Tr-1autopilot in a 24ft Lund and was very happy. We like trolling with a 4stroke kicker an we love the TR-1 autopilot!!! Its like an xtra person on boat who's job is to drive and they never complain!!! Great slow speed controll. It definitely puts fish in the boat!!!
  15. When I had cannons on the boat I found the best service by far came from A&P Custom tackle in the Albany area.Peter Shumannn is the owner 518-283-5920. He always gave me great service with fast turnaround time. I would ship my riggers to him. Would be back in business much faster then using local cannon service center I will not name, Pete Shumann is a good guy running a small business like myself. Hes also an avid fisherman.'
  16. very interested call Mike at 716-523-4998
  17. I'll second the reccomendation of the garmin TR-1 auto pilot for my 9.9 kicker. Best money I ever spent on this sport I love! Not cheap but no regrets!
  18. I have fished western LO and eastern LE for 25 years. The sharing of info is definitely different on the 2 lakes. Very little specific info is found on internet from eastern L. Erie. Seems its mostly word of mouth on Erie from your good old boy network. Luckily I do have a network of friends I talk to via phone. Even on the VHF hardly any detailed info is shared.Seems on LO theirs lots of internet sites that give very specific and detailed info. LOU,Spoonpullers,LOTSA, even GLA. You can go to these sites and ask a specific question and pretty much get a straight answer. Location, lures, speed the stuff you need to know. On the VHF I've made some friends I've known for over 20 years. Lots of out of state guys on LO always willing to share. When a tourny is just around the corner you better have a goodoldboy network you can call on both lakes. Anyhow just my observations after all these years. I'd welcome an LEU site and hope it could be as great a site as LOU has been for many years.
  19. Got 3 of those on my boat. Love em! Just curious why are you selling it?
  20. Just sent Tuna 7 reels. Heard lots of good reports about them. Will let you guys know how it works out.
  21. I found my 97 outrage in sandusky-port clinton area. I live in Buffalo area. My basic criteri was it had to be a hardtop in 22 to 26ft range. Hard to find cause all companys that made freshwater boats in this size either went out of business or stopped making them. Mostly used craigs list to search Buffalo,Rochester,Erie,Syracuse areas. When I started looking at sandusky-port clinton area I realized there were more used freshwater fishing boats THERE then probably anywhere in U.S.!!! Made 3 trips to Ohio in fall of 2012, 600+ miles each trip. Each trip I would have appointments all lined up to see and some watertest boats. Nov 1 2012 brought home the 97 Outrage, had snow flurries on ride home. Good luck!
  22. I own a 97 outrage and really like it. Mine has the 4.3 V-6 mercruiser I/O. Plenty of power, will do 38mph on flat water. Just right for 2 to 4 guys for a day of trolling. Have a 9.9 merc 4 stroke kicker on it with TR-1 autopilot.Keep it on trailer, pulls real easy on loadmaster bunk trailer. Good on fuel too.
  23. Been checking website, all seminar info is for 2015. When will we see a schedule for 2016 seminars?? Last year we got 3 day pass but had our seminar plan all figured out in advance. Can't plan without a schedule!! BTY i also work weekends. .
  24. is'nt the microwave east of olcott??
  25. Playing around with this. Recent spread fishing 80-120fow for staging kings. Port side: high diver#3 out 170 with mag spoon, low diver#1.5 out 110 with F-fly, port outdown rigger down 60ft with F-fly. Chute Rigger with Mag spoon. Starboard side: high diver#3 out 180 with mag spoon, low diver !.5 with F-fly out 90, starboard rigger down 53ft with F-fly. Questions: could the outdown riggers with FF baits be to close the inside 1.5 divers with FF baits?? To much comotion to close together?? BTW all diver rods are 30lb 7 strand wire. Outdown riggerbooms are 5ft. Boat beam 8.5ft. Also running 10 color down chute. We got bites on all rods except port rigger,10 color and both starboard dipseys. We went 2 for 3 on mature kings this morning with many shakers. Our action was better then most we talked to this morning. Guess my general question is would we be better off thinning out our spread. Maybe run just 2 riggers,2 wire divers, and a 10 color down the chute?? pHigh diver#3 out170 with mag spoon,
