I don't troll so i know nothing. If i was going to i would take Ivan's advice. It appears he knows what he's talking about. Looks like some serious experience being offered up here.

Spoons always good. Rapalas catch everything. There are all species around there. My best pike bait is a nickle red eye.

The fishing is pretty good right in downtown Clayton. You can sit on a bench and fish in 20fow. Keewayden park is good too. You can't fish in the marina but there is a lot of river front.

Lmao. I didn't listen to the last one. Ended up homeless and boatless. I have the memories;she can have the mantle.

When i started chasing musky catch and release was just catching on. "One for the wall" was accepted then and that was my plan. But once i finally got one in my boat i knew i could never kill one,no matter how big it was. Way too magnificent an animal to turn into a knick knack. After last week's big score i talked to mom about a replica. After some discussion it was decided(by her) that it was way too much money for something that was going to collect dust in the basement as there was NO WAY it was hanging over her mantle. So be it.

took me twenty years to crack fifty. Worth it. On the flip side of that one of my sons did it in twenty minutes.ðŸ˜Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
scenes like this are all too common. It's too bad all you need to fish legally is $25 for a license and a pole. When you renew online you don't even get a rule book. The rule book should have a section on handling fish safely and should come with every license. Another good idea would be an online fish handling course. To get people to take it the dec could offer a free year's license on completion. That's a good idea if i do say so myself. I will write the dec and suggest it.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
lol,no if i was alone i'd have had the go pro on and got better pics. Son in law did the camera work. At least he got the net job right. I was sweating that one,he's no fisherman. I would have had to kill him right there if he blew it. One more pic:Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Fwiw;i can watch the spot i caught her at from where we're staying. Several walleye boats are pounding that spot and catching fish. Trolling REAL slow.

I was out with a knowledgeable guy last week who had side scan and knew how to read it. I've never seen it before. Now i can't wait for my old unit to fail so i can justify getting it.
