  1. Try using that defense when checked by an ECO.
  2. Looks to me that you have 7 mallards and one black duck.
  3. Go get'em Ray. I'll be going back to Florida right after Christmas. It will be sheepshead, whiting, and trout fishing when I get home.
  4. "Believe me the pictures I have do no do this deer I have any justice, he is worn down. " What is your meaning of the above statement? " You can pretty much see the top of his spine. They need food at this point. " Do you think the deer in your area are starving?
  5. Goat buck is what we call'em. Neat looking though.
  6. Love to read your reports. It has been a trying season for all species this year. It is an off year for baitfish. Good luck with the rest of your season and enjoy your rooster fish catching.
  7. Ray, you could not have said it any better. Patience and attention to the detail of your hunt will make all the difference in the world.
  8. Check out the Rip Cord Ace. Nice drop away rest that has a brake that stops the rest from bouncing back up and hitting the fletching. I also have a Copper John Mark IV single pin sight that is awesome. You won't be disappointed going this route.
  9. Don't want to sound like a jerk, but, this is a deer hunting thread. You did post this in the waterfowl thread. Good that you had a great shoot this weekend. The best waterfowl hunting is yet to come!!!!!!
  10. Check out Copper John Mark IV. Single pin sight that has an optional lens kit. Niagara Outdoors is putting a bow package together for me. I ordered this sight and am looking forward to using it. I too have failing eye sight and will be getting the lens kit. Copper John is located in Auburn NY. http://www.copperjohn.com/archery-sights-bow-sights/mark-iv-black
  11. Tripled up on salmon, Stevie Ray live at Montrose playin' in the background, doesn't get much better than that. WTG.
  12. June bug spinner. We used to use these with a yellow sally for walleye on Conesus lake back in the day.
  13. Harbor has been dredged. There is one launch dock in. No issues at all.
  14. Went out of Sturgeon Point today for a few hours. Brought back 8 perch that were from 11 to 13 inches. Drifting minnows. Best depth was 50'. Surface water temp is 38 degrees. We're getting there. Last week there was still ice in this area.
  15. Way to go. Always nice when you have the lake to your self. Combat fishing can be challenging.
  16. Nice King, but if I was you, I'd be getting after Cobia and Tripletail. Much better eating IMO.
  17. What a great way to start that lad out. I bet he's pumped up for the next trip.
  18. The smile on her face says it all....you are headed to some really good memories. My girls were all brought up with a fishing pole in their hands, and as adults they are still fishing with me. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!
