  1. Nice bugs and stone crab claw you got there. Good eats for sure.
  2. Incredible as the swim was, add the fact that at nine miles out he was in the gulf stream. So he had to fight that current also. On a positive note the Coastguard did recover the boat.
  3. Third video he had a quick view of a Lionfish. Talk about an invasive species. Quite prevalent in the Keys and they have made their way to the reefs in north Florida.
  4. Thanks so much for your reports!!!! Happy Holidays to you also
  5. Nice shot on the hogfish..........some good eating also
  6. Good going.......second chances don't come too often!!! Congrats Are you shooting a Remington that has been recalled for defective triggers???
  7. Very nice buck. Looks like you have a good gene pool in that area. Congrats!!!!!
  8. Nice fish.....the illusion of you standing on your head was priceless
  9. In nature there are always up years and down years. There are so many variables. The fishery isn't collapsing, it's just going through a transition like it has in years past. Listen to Rays advice and hang in there. You never know what next might bring.
  10. Whereabouts in Florida????? I'm going to get muzzleloader season and Christmas behind me and head back. Sheepshead fishin' here I come
  11. Took a doe this afternoon at 1515 hrs.240 yard shot. Love my Savage 270. They were standing in the pasture on the farm where I hunt with my son-in-law. They have been coming to the pasture pretty early the last few days. Back at them tomorrow.
  12. Good job young buck....still time to get a buck. Get on after him
  13. Huh.......????? Nuff bashin'! Very nice deer!!!!!!
  14. Congrats on the one you harvested. Big antlers are nice but the meat sure tastes better than bones.
  15. Back in the 70's.....Woolrich clothing was the cats ass, snow on opening day was pretty normal, Thinsulate and Gortex had not been invented, there were no machines to pull deer out of the woods unless you had a tractor, it was five people per doe tag and you anxiously awaited for the mail to come to see if you had been selected. Iron sights on my Ithaca 37 Deerslayer, and hunting from tree stands had not even been thought of. My, how the times have changed. The one thing that hasn't changed is, the deer are as smart now as they were back then.
  16. Way to go Was quiet in my neck of the woods Now the work begins!!!!
  17. X2 on the good luck!!!!!! Be safe wherever you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Yellow Perch......they like shiners in the mud at times. The Black Forest clue tipped me off. I always have Black Forest cake for desert after having a perch fry
  19. Where are you located? The only shops we have in the Buffalo area are Dicks and Gander. We all know the selection they have nowadays. I'm really hoping that Cabelas will cater to our needs.
  20. Just be sure to cut out the lateral line and all is good.
