  2. I figured the "digging" would answer itself...............better NOT be pigs ! ............or goats or sheep for Muslim consumption ........ Cooter needs something more to bark at anyhow..........nice boat

  4. Black Dipsey, Glo Frog Racer Spin Doctor, and a Reel-Hooked Up fly go to set-up.............#2 Green Dolphin/chrome Spin Doctor, fly is a XXX-treme glow "pole dancer" or "lap dancer"( I confuse the fantasy).............everything as long as it's green ........and glow............. sometimes I wear a tie

  7. Jack, http://www.bigweeniebrand.com/ , "laker taker" in the water they look 3-D, any good wire former, & tear one apart in reverse for a model, but a perch spreader is a good start, some mylar............

  9. Grease trap Alabama rig Peanut (Yakima Bait company)
  10. Who's pulling a chain now ? I put Big Weenies cut bait heads (mini) using Berkley minnows (smelt) in the head behind the traps, which I run off off Dipsey Divers, & like Jason said, deep

  14. OMG !!!!! HE GOT RID OF THE FISH HAWK TOO !?!?!?!?
  15. Hey Mike glad Rob will get the use they deserve out of them , keep missing you at the "plaza", bought the 2 black mag Dipsys I found hidden in the rack ........AND send those pics ! I enjoy them !, did you get the Fish Hawk mounted ?
  16. I told a story on here once before...........My Son and I would fish every year together, we would both get up early, go out with my tackle box full of lures and "fish" the day away trying to coax the elusive "big one" into our new used boat and motor. Then I bought a fish finder, and our time "fishing" was soon replaced with "searching" for fish My new used boat is super loose and since most times I fish by myself ( I have no clients) I find I can put 3 wire rods with Dipsy's on the "drag" out a lot easier than trying to set out 1 down rigger without going in circles. The learning curve came a lot easier for me with wire, Dipsys, Spin Doctors, flies, so the 2 $700 down riggers were just "boat bling" at the launch, they looked cool on the boat, but were most times just going out for a ride.........like my Son ...................HEY ! that Dipsy Duffle is pretty cool huh ?
  17. Got rid of my down-riggers, just couldn't get a successful program going with them, or build any confidence like I could with Dipsys and wire rods , so bought 4 more wire rods to replace them, more Dipsys, some Tru-Trip jet divers, Church TX-44 planers, of course a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet jigging outfit. A new product that I found that I would like to share http://www.bigpapasportfishing.com/ , because my divers get banged around in an over sized 1 compartment Plano box, so I bought Big PaPa's "Diver Duffle", holds 8 magnum Dipsys and folds into a package less than a foot square LOOK for the guy towing 6 tangled wire rods this year !
  18. I like how Jason says 25 fish, and Sean says 20 ......this is exactly how fishermen get a bad rap , but Hey ! THANKS for breaking up the Winter boredom
  19. Thanks Sean, I'm trying to find out if it's a "king pin", , "plug in", or a "spring lock", I don't think it's a "taper-lock" I have a perfect condition, passenger seat, I'm looking to buy a power rise pedestal, stem (?)...........BUT I'll keep your FREE offer in mind, when I get her out again
  20. I have a 1989, 17' Blue Finn Sportsman, walk through "fish & ski", does anybody know, with certainty what style of bow seat pedestal it takes ?, proper size (length) ? covered for the Winter, so no pics of base, don't know if I could get a clear pic anyhow because of it being under the bow deck. THANKS In Advance for the help ..............or adding to the confusion
  21. Does this Google fella troll them? I hadn't considered bass type flies and that makes me also think in terms of a rapala or similar lure which isn't a bucktail streamer and of topic. Jack GAWWWWWWWWWWD I can't wait till EVERYBODY'S fishing again
  22. google search "what is a good fly to imitate perch?"
