    Kicker size? I have 16 ft smokercraft angler. I am thinking about doing a kicker this year rather than using my trolling plate. Would a 5 horse Honda 4 stroke be enough motor? What size would you guys recommend?

    I started with dragging buckets. Now I use a plate. The plate is a lot easier. Some minor issues with control. Not to bad. The only thing better in my eyes is a 4 stroke kicker but $$$$

    I wouldn't rule out running a10 color lead core rod. We have caught more fish on lead in the small lakes that we fish than anything else. I have recently started running copper down the chute and doing well with that also !

    I have been running this copper all summer in the local lakes by me. I am currently running 3 riggers,1 lead, and one planer with snap weights. I have to say that the copper has been out fishing all the setups that I have been running . I have caught lakers,Browns , and a couple 5 lb rainbows on it!!!

    Talked to him on Facebook earlier in the spring and he said he wouldn't have any 44's anytime soon. Not sure why they are different than others.i have 6 or seven other numbers, but not any other 44's. Hate to even hook them on the line.

    I have 300ft of copper. Can I use rubber bands to hook to the copper at like 100 ft with the walleye boards so it doesn't hurt the copper.

    Well I could see how it could make a mess. Tried it this weekend on a local lake. Hooked a 4.5 pound rainbow . It got interesting to say the least!!
