    Found an old set of Riviera manual riggers cheap. They have pretty long booms on them. Are they any good and how much weight will they handle? Debating on trying these or keep saving and buying a set of Cannon's.

    We were fishing a few years ago and a sail boat came up the lake and ran over one of my buddies planner boards, the big ones off the mast. Me and another buddy were laughing. The guy that owned the boat was pissed for a while, until he calmed down. Then we all got a pretty good chuckle later.

    Ok I guess he is rite then. It seemed like the lure was awfully high above the snap weight. I know there is different weight size, but how far down are you getting with that setup roughly?

    When running snap weights on big boards and a mass, how far do you run the weights from the lure? Out fishing with a buddy the other day and noticed he was running 40 feet from the lure. It seemed like the lure was running way above the snap weight when realing them in.

    Went into the Gloversville store this past weekend!!!!! That place is dangerous this close to home!!!!!!!!!

    Nice fish!!!!!!!! I fished Owasco before when we got blown off Ontario. Had one hit on a rigger. Whatever it was We had on battled us for about 3 minutes and straightened the hook on the spoon. I have been trying to back there ever since then!! Whats in that besides rainbows? Lakers rite?

    Ya I just saw that. Wave report doesn't look the best. 2 to 4 ft. We will have the young ones with us.

    We have used Cold steel a couple of times. He did very well by us!!!

    I am thinking of making a spring brown trip to Oswego. Any help would be appreciated. We usually run planner boards and down riggers and dippsies for kings in the fall. I have never fished for spring browns. Any ifo please. Depth, behind the ball, how far out and behind planners, and weight on Planners, colors of spoons. Thanks in advance guys. Thinking of going this weekend or next.

Hooked up with one of the charters and learned alot. Went out to 500 ft of water first thing. Hooked up on one king that was about 25lbs. Then my 8 year old sun hooked up on a small king and a small steely on the same rod . Couln't believe it, ended up losing the steely on the back of the boat. Caught more and started heading in shallower, then had a rig cleaned off in about 150ft of water. Had a great day and learned alot using the charter today. Charter says probably a week or two yet of good fishing. Fish on guys ====================

    Just wondering what the outlook is for next weekend? Had to work for the hurricane this weekend. Sounds like I missed some good fishing. Gonna try next weekend. Hope its not the merry go round in the Harbor? Do you think the kings will still be out a ways? Thanks guys in advance.

    Just wonderimg what everybody thinks for laborday weekend ? What depths are the kings going to be at. Hoping they are not stagged up tight to the rivers. Hate doing the merry go round at the mouths. Going out of Oswego.

    Good. was kind of worried. Going to take my son up for next weekend. Only have time to make one weekend this year and going to try and make it a long one. Thanks guys. Will be watching close all week.

    How long do you guys think it will take for the lake to straighten out after the hurricane? Plan on fishing next weekend for Kings. Holping that the lake is not all messed up because of the storm. Seems everytime we make a trip up storms mess with the temps.

    We were having same prob this weekend with the cannon 145 on the rigger probe said about 90 ft at 2.7 with a twelve pound weight. It was zeroed when we started. Didn't try to stop boat. I was going to ask the same question.

    Just wondering how important temp is right now for kings. You are looking for 55 degrees right. Yesterday temps seemed to around 55 in certain depths and then would change get warmer when you went out deaper at the depth. How does that work
