  1. Sheriff's dept mentioned nobody had been reported missing. Onlookers from shore called it in and said they saw someone swimming one minute and gone the next. Any truth to this? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. From the moment it came over the back of the boat, I knew she was hurt bad, there was nothing we could do. 40 down in ice cold water, over 100 ft. Fish of a lifetime for sure, pictures don't do it justice nor where the hook was, remember this was salmon tackle, that hooked was deep in the mouth and hooked into a gill and throat. It is a fish of a lifetime. The legacy will live on... Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. If you're near sampson, there's more bait there than you think. Fish 100 to 120 if you just want action for lakers. 111 down with dodger and spin glow should move rods for ya, spin Dr's out on a mag diver 225' 235' will do the trick. Log leads from divers to flashers. If you want some salmon and bows, head out to the middle of the lake or more towards the west side from kashong to dresden and troll faster than normal, run rigger with spoons down 50 to 64 foot but make sure to have cheaters on the line, although the cheater out of temp it has been hitting the suspended fish in warmer water. If you hit one, turn on the area. You will get more. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Thanks guys, Saturday evening got blown off with the storm, managed one salmon and one laker. In the 10 minutes we got to fish. The inconsistent winds have moved the weeds all over the place... Fished today solo from 8 to 10 managed a handful of Lake trout, from 100to200 fow. Nothing on spoons today. Temps down about 50to65... Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  16. Booked last minute trip for yesterday evening. Set up north if the park in 80'. 4 riggers 2 high 2 deep, four divers. Kept it tight. Weeds were there but tolerable, too much for garbage lines. All kinda of fish at temp, 50 to 65 down was 55° depending on current line. Deep rigger trashcan 111 took, 90 rigger e chip atom mik uv took, dipsy at 238 and 229 one with spin Dr chartreuse/mtn dew with atomic crazy btch fly, other white echip with uv hammer fly. Just as fast as you could reset diosys they were firing, fish were hitting them on way out. The hot bite lasted for an hour, just as storm was letting up. On water at 4, off by 7. No silvers today, but I'll take it! Had some good ones on pulling line, fish were a bit too much for the kids, but we did manage a couple real good quality. Back at it tomorrow.
