    Lol, We worry about 6-12' of floro leaders as we hit them in the head with cannon balls, flashers, spin drs. , dipseys & everything else we send down. I wonder if that piece of line really matters? Like a lot of things I think it catches more fishermen than fish!

    Agreed, I don't understand why everyone is down on lakers? With todays cost of equipment & gas prices ,I feel as long as I am out there I might as well be catching/doing something if other fish aren't biting. jmo

    We fished, got 3 lakers right away, then 3-4 ft. waves out of the east & no more fish! Wind blows!

    We plan on fishing tomorrow for lakers . Any ideas where we should head anywhere from the lower river to the Oak is good for us. Thanks for any info. hope the east winds aren't to much for our 19 footer. dam winds!

    I read/saw somewhere (Dec.) new findings say we should not move a fish back & forth that it does more harm than good. It is not natural for fish to go backwards & it does not help them to recover. They say just move them in a forward motion only. I guess I/we have been doing it wrong for a long time!

    What year is that boat? I have a1992 Grady that has always been stored inside. I sure hope it's better than that! It seems fine & strong. How did you find your problem? Yours looks great now good luck!

    Stayed with the drum brakes. tore all apart & only found bad wheel cylinders. Replaced them, now only need to bleed the system & will be on the road! Thanks guys for all the good info.

    Has anyone ever switched from hydraulic drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes on their boat trailer ? Is it a real pain ? Does the coupler/actuator need to be changed ? Thanks for any info. on this!

    If you think about going to the Oak or Niagara /west end with a east or northeast wind Stay home it will be a rough ride.

    FYI, if you go to "lakeart.com" you can see every web cam on the great lakes. Many good ones .
