  1. JMO, but I say everyone should run flags on their boards at all times, much easier to see them coming & people have time to move out of the way!
  2. Last Sat. we got 65 all over 12-14" full of eggs & milt. 50 fow in front of the Catt.
  3. P-66 is mounted & working great, especially compared to the o.e. lowrance x-ducer. Quite a difference. Happy, happy, happy!
  4. I just saw on my small trailer tire that it calls for 90# & had to do a double take! WTH. lol
  5. Got to try the new lenco's, they really work nice leveling the boat & smoothing out the ride, very happy with them!
  6. Thanks for the info. yesterday. We fished the same place & way today (5/6) & boated 20 of 25 hookups! All lakers, biggest one 14#. Had a great day!
  7. I like to run my tires at or 2# less than what the tire says. jmo They heat up with too little air which is not good.
  8. K- 100 marine additive, put it in & run it, it will work! Forget the Sat-bil & the seafoam.
  9. Was at Erie basin today, no ice at all by the boom & the lake looked clear. only saw ice on the canadian side & not much there either. Nothing going on at Erie basin or the Sm. boat harbor as far as docks going in or open launches.
  10. Someone here had 6 ugly sticks with line counters on them a week or 2 ago, seemed like a good deal. check the classified ads.
  11. Gill-T, we pulled our boats out at the same time, on the same dock yesterday. I said the same thing about the wind. Nice king!
  12. No, I didn't, got the standard switch. But they both retract when I turn the key off.
  13. I just put a set of Lenco's on my Grady which leaned to the port side. I can't wait to try them. Was going to try it tomorrow (Sat.) but did't get everything else done, maybe next wk.!
  14. Us LOU members need a secret hand shake or something so we know when we are talking to someone from the site. lol. Nice talking with you. Hope you have a good day catching a lot. Let us know how you do. We are going out of Olcott Sat. am.
  15. Fished the Oak 4/15/15 (shake down day) headed east nothing form the pier until we got to the point near bald eagle marine then we picked up 4 nice browns & 1- 15# laker, all between the creek & the pine point. Beauty of a day! All the docks are in at the Oak.
  16. Old man, I agree with you but I get P. O. ed when We have to pay to use Our natural lakes & water ways. & then come October they close the launches down & block/lock them up so we can't use them even if the weather is nice & the lakes aren't froze up. Around the Buffalo area come October all launches are locked up. We have some great weather in Oct. & Nov. I feel they belong to us & we should be able to use them when ever. jmo.
  17. All I use is super tech, never had a problem with 20 yr. old yamaha motors.
  18. Good setup they work well/easy.
  19. FYI to you guys over 62. You can get a "NY Golden Age Park permit"(free) or a Empire State pass($$) good at any NY state park/launch to get in free & launch your boat. Its good Mon. - Fri. Contact; Tom Rowland, 585-682-4888, park manager at Oak Orchard Marine park. or Roland Beck, 585-493-3600, park manager at Conesus Boat Launch. I have one I use at Oak orchard, Canadagaiua(sp), The Catt. on Erie & now at the Buffalo Small boat harbor now that the state took it over.
  20. Can the x-ducer be mounted to the tab, has anyone done this? I do have 4" between the tab & the outside starboard edge of the boat but I am thinking there will be turbulence of water coming around the corner of the boat & cause interference on the x-ducer. How about mounting it on the port side where I have more room?(manufacturer prefers starboard side) The manufacturer & friends talked me out of the P79 due to lost of power thru the hull for a fishfinder x-ducer, I was all set to buy it.
  21. Ended up ordering the P66 after talking to a few guys & the Manufacturer. They said for better fish finding go with the transom mount. They claim the kicker & trim tabs won't interfere, sure hope they're right!
