  1. That fish looks like a coho to me. the whitish upper mouth region screams coho to me. maybe a mix chin-ho?
  2. brother and I had a great day but missed a lot of fish. Combined for the day went 8-21. Think it was combination of slow speed and long leads off the riggers. Had mostly lakers on but good numbers of kings and 1 domestic rainbow. It was strange but she was still full of eggs. We went east and had nobody even close by. One of the best days on the water long time. Wish we could have landed a few more fish.
  3. Definitely would be a great idea. Seems to give a better action that makes them bite more often, at least to me.
  4. To the west of the shoot there is a shoal right after the campground in 6-8 foot of water. It comes up so fast you will lose tackle there. I know my brother and I have lost tackle there a lot over the years. Bout time gave two good places to start. Another is the beach area at the state park. Usually good until the boat traffic moves them out.
  5. I made the same mistake a few weeks back. I brought a newbie up to fish some creeks and no Fat Nancy's. It was a chore to find somewhere to get a license for him. I wish I knew in the first place.
  6. Any pics of the second keel for the otter boats? Thanks
  7. Another way to keep that brand new looking cooler is ..........to get the fish at the market!!!!!!!
  8. I use only Penn 345. It will hold 600' of copper with 300 yards of backing. I now have 3 reels paired up with Okuma Classic Pro GLT copper/leadcore rods. A great combo I have used on the water. Works well for me.
  9. I prefer the diawa 47LC or the Okuma Convector. Both are good. Been using the diawa 47lc for years with no problem.
  10. 2nd what Gotta Bite said about the Okuma rods. Looking to pick up a few more for this salmon season.
  11. Are you willing to separate the weight sets? If so how much for the torpedo weights?
  12. Been picking up the 11" paddles to run with the 6" ITO flies. Been in talks with him for over a year. Has some good ideas from another big pond. He has some great combos on his website. Has some nice dolphins colors and last longer compared to the competition. I will be using ITO flies for 3 years this spring, its all I use. I caught tons of fish on chrome spinny and a golden green or green crinkle, always a hot ticket. Remember white on white and green on green. Never go wrong with either one.
  13. Second that what KING ME said. Been using his flies for a several years now. Even before anybody on this site ever hear of ITO. Can't wait to use the 6" flies more often this year. Have a few color schemes stuck in my head for this year. Another great thing about Ryan, is that he tie anything up for you. If you can dream it, he can tie it. Great quality and not a wallet beater. UP!
  14. Thanks for the link, just ordered a certain colored spoons for browns. Had only 1 left and my brother is in possession of it. Haha ordered a dozen and I'm might not even tell him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Like the Scotty power grip releases. I have no problem even connecting to the copper line itself. Never have any problems with the copper like fraying or kinks. Its my go to release. Bout time you can get them @ Screwy Louise's in Fair Haven.
  16. wish I could find a new engine for it, so I could buy this boat. The price is a steal.
  17. How much for the boots and could you pm me a pic of the bottom of the boots. Thanks in advance.
  18. Wish I could get a loan for such a nice looking boat. I wish I could afford it.
  19. Power Pro 50lb 12lb diameter is the answer.
