  2. If you are going that far...you might include some road kill skunk, arse hole and all
  3. Going to see this boat and wanted to know fair cash price 05 191 starcraft islander well cared for I/o (no autopilot) 9,9 mecury kicker with troll control rocket launcher single axel trailer thanks for your help.
  4. Bought a set from Tom and they work great!
  5. I got a set of half keels and wanted to know if i use the factory holes for mounting the half keel. When i use the factory holes on the second keel they are not paralel to each other. Looks like i need to drill a new front hole? The keels in the pick below appear to be parallel. Thanks for any help.
  6. I have always run the lure a foot behind the props whitewater trail on the rigger 3' down, on my boat that is 15' back. Never tried this for browns, but does work on atlantics & lakers in the spring and fall. I did try this with a torpedo diver down the chute 15' back on Champlain and LMAO when a land locked rocketed over the outboard!
  7. That is a killer boat! Looked it up the other day when i first saw it posted. It would already be in my driveway if i had the cash!
  8. Great looking jigs. What size trebbles are you using on them? How well do the ear ball jigs work on the lakers?
  9. what are you looking for in an outboard? I have a 60hp merc big foot 4 stroke 20" shaft 3 years young
  10. If you are having trouble with the adjustment put on a set of vertical blades as it will help with the learning curve. If it doesn't light up the screen than you have made a bad adjustment. You might want to reset the unit and start fresh. The only problem I have encountered with the hd5 is when I run 2 sets of vertical blades on two different riggers and I end up loosing the bottom signal. If this happens I restart the unit and it usually comes back online correctly.
  11. You will find the bass fishing excellent in that part of the lake. Like people have said the lakers will be deep! Try the sunken island area for perch & bass off hague. Most warm water fish will be down at 40' by that time. If you are looking for coldwater, then I suggest you trailer up the road to Champlain and launch out of Port Henry or Westport. It is worth the trip! As a side note, if you have a large boat and double axle trailer be advised there is a red stripe on the dock and to not put your wheels in past that line or you will go over the edge and have costly trailer repairs.
  12. These boards are worthless if that is what you have. I have a set of otters on order myself
